I’m sure that the Nintendo online servers would be burned to a crisp trying to handle more than 8 players on a map but it’s an interesting to think how chaotic it would be to have a 6v6 turf war or a battle royal game mode lol

I think a free for all rather than a battle royal would be better, just eight player turf war, but each player has their own color, this would also be a good unranked mode cuz we really need more of those
i agree. I think battle royal and a battle pass are bad ideas. Because battle royal is something a lot of games do but splatoon is a game about turf war and inklings and octoling and shiz and I dont think the lore would be creative. and a battle pass is a bad idea cuzz.. I dont want to spend more money ;_;
A capture the flag mode would be awesome. It would probably need a bigger stage/stages like the battle royal mode, but I'm sure Nintendo could figure something out.
alternatively it can be like, the flag slows you down like the rainmaker (but with no lethal bursts) so that it isnt a very speedy return back to home base.
I had this concept for a Rogue-Like Adventure Mode. A randomly Generated gauntlet where you have to defeat punishing enemies in increasingly harder and varied locations while obtaining upgrades along the way by collecting clotted Ink and weapons along the way. The Story would follow Pearl as she has currently been going mad after marina’s mysterious disappearance into a cavern hidden under the city. She has spent the last 2 years trying to get in there but each expedition leaves her empty handed, Eventually she seeks the help of you, a Random inkling or octoling new to the area to take a chance and rescue Marina from her prison feel below. Some of the Area concepts I had were a Subway Junction, A Chepalopod Archive, Pearl Mansion, An ancient Cavern housing primitive Squids, A Morgue filled with splattered Warriors and much much more I can’t even remember. Think of it as Nuclear Thrones but with Splatoon Mechanics

Maybe a “Splatify” for custom songs/bands, or ANY game mode with the Lazer-tag aesthetic because I absolutely loved the glow-in-the-dark ink and aesthetic during splatfests.
I would like an online boss mode or something. Or at least a DIFFERENT horde mode than salmon run or an obstacle course mode. Just something to spice things up. I'd also like a map or lobby area where you can chill with friends and do random things like emotes or something or mini games. It'd be really cool to have a music maker mode where you can make music and share it like posts or something
Hello. I am from 2023. Splatoon 3 has a new mode that is like a battle royale. The Splatsville plaza is as big as both Splatoon 1 and 2 plaza combined. Splatfests are now a trend on social media, and it is the second most popular game in Japan.
I’m still on board with the idea of apartments being in the game. Even if it’s just a small thing that doesn’t affect the core gameplay of Splatoon 3, this is like a nice way to have your Inkling or Octoling chill out and getting to customize it would be really nice (imagine players having an apartment that’s dedicated to the Squid Sisters 👀) and if there’s an option to buy more furniture/items, then that would make getting gold more worth it than it did with the previous game. Great video as always, Pufuu! I love your editing and the little jokes you throw in that makes me chuckle! 💚
free for all mode, basically everyone against each other, but maybe with some increase health. i find that better than battle royale mode where its not "last person standing wins" but rather, just a turf war, with 8 dang colors. Although issues might arise with the color lock, or even if you are color blind.
How about a mode called "Black-Ink Bounty". Create or join clans to complete as many bounty for you and your clan. Doing this could earns you "reputation" and basic rewards like Gs and those drink perks tickets, the challenges could be similar to the Octo-Expansion challenges insteads you do 4 daily Bounties. the higher the reputation could unlock Boss Bounties where you fight different new bosses for this mode or refight old story mode boss (which ever could be possible to develop), completing this gives you greater reputation, Gs and possible a 1 to 3 Sea-Urchins (offering a another way of obtaining them for players who missout or lose the splatfest) However these Boss Bounties are risky in which you have 1-life and losing it losses the bounty and decreases your reputation for the day. Just something I thought while watching the Mandolarin. (....Please Pin)
This idea came to me in a dream. There is the octo whirl in the middle of the map and you use splat duelies to roll around the map and try and take out the boss. Once you take out the boss, one of the building's doors will open (the map had two hotel buildings) and all you gotta do is doge roll your way into the building and win. best idea ever. Credit my brain!
An idea I randomly had was some kind of tag mode. Two teams, 8 players. It's pretty simple. Whenever you're splatted, you turn into something like the Salmon Run's floaters when you die. You can be revived by getting 100 HP worth of ink. If a team gets fully wiped, they lose. In case of no full squad wipe, the team with the most kills win.
I like the idea of hide and seek, capture the flag, and apartments. I think it would be neat if we scanned our amiibos, they'd just be like our roomates or something and we'd get custom gear or furniture for our room. Like in animal crossing new leaf when we got custom furniture and wallpapers, n' stuff :)
I think a cool concept for a new ranked mode would be an 8 ball mode similar to rocket league where you shoot the ball to the other teams goal first team to earn 2 points wins 🤔
I actually want really small details in splatoon3.. Like for example, npcs or bots option in practice? Where you can even change their level types (Like the CPUs in SSBU) I say this because I dont have many friends who dont wanna practice jn priv battles, or maybe just only party. Also, so you know how some gears change color depending on your ink color? I would like where you can actually have the colors set, if there is a certain color of gear I would prefer. and maybe time/daylight change. I have tons more ideas but i dont want this comment to seem boring as it already is
I would really like it if we could have multiple lobbies with one main lobby and some sub-lobbies, by example we could have one dedicated to online co-op modes (kind of like in Project Splatoon 3 with Mako Missions which become available when Salmon Run isn’t) or even some sort of appartement lobby in which you access more customization options (possibly for weapons too). But there should also definitely be some more story development, especially on what happened during the year and a half between the two most recent games (possibly we could access a map of this region indicating where are the Splatlands compared to Inkopolis and possibly other regions. I also think they should bring back the dojo (possibly in a sub-lobby) and maybe add an Order part of the city (also as a sub-lobby) in which we could access different equipements and possibly even weapons. We of course need new ranked modes. Lastly, I think the solo modes should be more open and have a less linear progression (and definitely not just floating blocks all the time), there should be different types of missions like in the Octo Expansion, and, personal choice, I think we should get a DLC in one or two chapters that introduces a new species and that partly takes place on islands far from the current region of Inkopolis and Splatsville which contains four cities (which can be seen in the first world of story mode), and that introduces new mechanics like corrosive ink or rain that slowly clears the ink. I think it would also be really nice if we could decide wether our inkling/octoling is left-handed or right-handed, I mean left-handed people exist turns out so why force them to be right-handed in their favorite game ? We should also get more grizzco weapons as we only have four classes yet and the brella acts more like a shooter than an actual brella. I also think we should get a day-night cycle which could be really cool especially in matches(for the moment we can only get a night version of stages during splatfest events and we do not have any dawn effect). Other random modifiers in matches could also be quite nice like fog or rain. Finally it would be really cool if we could explore the lobby more freely and even possibly get a lobby expansion with new shops and customization possibilities(the area at the rear of Inkopolis Square could’ve hinted at an expansion and yet nothing happened. Most of this will probably never make it into the game and I have not yet used up all my ideas but if even just a few of them could make that would be nice.(Part of this was inspired by Project Splatoon 3)
Idea for a new game mode: Limited ink turf war. Each team has a few refill points throughout the map and it takes a few seconds to refill your ink tank. The question then becomes, do you want to try inking turf, or camp an enemy's refill point? You also question, should you risk going to a refill point and be vulnerable, or play it safe and super jump back to spawn, but lose time? Also, specials will be disabled because otherwise it'd be broken. Jrs could just spam ink armor and give their team an instant ink refill. Sense bombs are so ink hungry, they'd probably also just be disabled so it doesn't create a meta where literally everyone is just using a weapon with burst bombs.
Ok hear me out what about a cod zombies mode? I think it would work great with the chaotic theme of the game. Maybe you could be working for Cuttlefish and need to fight against Tar tar who's sending sanitized to take you down. It could also reuse some code from salmon run (revive etc.). Just an idea, great video!
I'd like a 4v4 team death match Mode. Every player in the game has, say, 3 lives and the first team to run out of lives loses. There'd have to be some mechanic to stop camping/stalling tho
The only main thing I NEED in Splatoon 3… is that freaking adorable octoling hair that got cut from Octo Expansion. I’m talking about the hairstyle that goes over the octoling’s eyes and is similar to a bob cut. We need this adorable feature!
I think a battle royale would need much higher health and larger maps. The game would be over in 1 minute if it was normal health. Loading times would need to be quicker if you don’t have respawns.
Im late to this but I think a randomizer mode would be fun where your given random set of gear or are given randomized gear from other players in yhe match
i think a battle royale mode is, to put it charitably, a fucking Terrible idea. closest thing i would tolerate is a 4v4 mode where the objective is to get the most splats as a team (and even that feels like it's kinda throwing splatoon's main gimmick, ink, in the trash)
I have a mode kinda like a mix of rainmaker and br so, you grab a flag, you bring it to the OTHER teams goal. BUT if you get splatted you have to spectate. I call it..Don’t Capture The Flag.
I have an idea that won't absolutely destroy Nintendo's servers. So, maybe a 2v2v2v2 (eight players total just pairs) and maybe turf war with it, or even a new ranked mode just for it? I was trying to go for something more realistic since their servers are 🤷
5:02 this sounds like Splatoon 1's amiibo challenges (kinda) I want the amiibo challenges back so badly. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am when you could only take photos of the amiibo figure with your inkling
if we get a battle royal it would be probably be team based since its a team based game, and if it wasn't there will be 8-10 colours everywhere which will be confusing. i like the concept of battle royal but maybe it would be better team based. (luv your vids btw)
I would love a sword type weapon NOT A BRUSH more like a sword looking stick with ink spraying out of the sides hitting the trigger swings the sword thus activating it doing it 3 times dose a combo holding the trigger causes you to hold it behind you and paint the ground but if you hold it after the combo it will do a charged attack that sends a slash made of ink flying since the sword is on it uses a tiny bit of ink slowly not doing anything or swimming deactivates it idk mabey I'm a weeb
If I got to decide what I could add to splatoon 3, I would want more than one agent in the story mode. Because Nintendo had showcased different looking agents in different stages, it would be cool to switch between characters with different weapons or specials in each stage. Maybe you could make a video on this topic?
Yeah considering that that the new agent 3 has two different hero gear I could see why plus it would also make the game way different then its predecessors in my opinion

Yeah... why would Apartments really matter? No one sees them except ourselves and serves as simply aesthetical purposes. Maybe if they showed off some trophies from the game, maybe... but I guess the tags already suffice that part in the demo that we've seen
I’m aware I am a bit late for this, but I would like to share my brand new mode. Introducing splatball, a mode based of football (or soccer if your American) this mode is a 8v8 battle mode that is football but splatoon. You enter just like salmon run (not through the lobby) and are greeted by a sea creature called nessi (it’s a very good name beacuse it’s a football pun and a sea pun). in this mode you must score goals, the team to score most goals in 7:00 minutes wins! Not only that, get to a high enough rank and you can make your own team with freinds or join one! Then you can organise battles with other teams. Each team has up to 8 players. The team leader can make a custom shirt for the team aswell! This mode would have 3 unique maps on launch and it’s own song.OShin- by c-side, and 3 sea-lions on the shirt -by front roe. This mode would technically have weapon rotations, the mode would tell you what class you can use then you choose a weapon from said class and get into a match, on rare occasions, specials only or any class mode. Regarding specials, you can only use a special once you get to 300p but some specials are band such as big bubbler. You can choose your main, sub and special, so this is just like custom kits aswell. It is open all the time, and splatfest even affects it! So anyway. That’s my idea. I think it’s good, what do you think?
To the guy that said it should get a battle pass, nintendo wouldn't make things paid except for the occasianal really big dlc so no that aint happening
