“Simply not dying” is, strangely enough, kind of a good strategy. If you get too risky and then accidentally die, then things could very likely cascade into a crew wipe, or your team will waste time rezzing you, leading to a time’s up
@@ursamajo.r well I think it already has as much content as S2 Salmon Run due to the scale rewards and replay value, I was just referring to the datamined information we currently have about salmon run. So it's a possibility but I think Salmon Run currently has enough content for a while
We're also near the beginning of this game's lifetime, which naturally means there's going to be more players that are brand new to the series, and have no prior experience with Salmon Run. Hopefully in the next 6 months we'll see a bit of an improvement in player skill and stage diversity.
@@trickynick9139 The only issue I have with more bosses spawning is it slows the game down. Otherwise it's fine. Though Glowflies should be reverted back to their S2 version.
Nice gameplay! Tough rotation, mostly because of the map. One thing I can suggest is to be more generous with using specials in early waves. Better to make sure you clear wave 1 and 2 so you don't drop rank, rather then saving them and risk dropping. And of course, don't wait until the last minute to use them. They're so much better when used pro-actively.
I agree, but it also depends on the special! Like reefslider and crabtank are good to use early, its also good to save ones like the inkjet (because its really useful for glowflies) and the wavebreaker and killer wail for certian situations, like if you're being swarmed by lesser salmonids or you're the last player the wave breaker is great, or the killer wail if theres alot of flyfish since it can peirce through the flyfish's armour! :D
THERE IS A REASON FOR THE ASPARAGUS-simply put the Salmonid society believes in a "circle of life" type of philosophy, including the possibility something else eats THEM deliciously. That's also why they fight with pans and why the grillers utilize grills
A way to tell if you're gonna get a Cohozuna is the ending jingle will sound out of tune. It's subtle, but it's just off enough that it makes you go "Something's up..." and then Cohozuna appears

If you are still wondering about the golden in gushers, you need to pay attention to the gushers when they open. The higher it goes the closer you are.
All weapons are good (except reeflux). The only time they’re weak, is when the player doesn’t recognize their weaknesses, and neither do they play into their weapon’s strengths or preferred role. As a given, being able to effectively communicate with freelance also enhances the strengths of each weapons, but that is beside the point. There are no bad weapons (except reeflux), only bad players who know nothing and don’t we em care to try to improve their knowledge or macro decisions.
To answer your question at 0:56, the context of the clip showed the height of the nearest valve was pretty high, meaning that it had to be nearby that valve. Only learned that recently, like the explosher thing.

general salmon run tip for anyone; if you’re using a weapon you don’t normally use (which is true almost always lmao), try to learn how you fit in on the team. like should you stand back, should you be the one on the front lines, etc. it’s helped me a lot, at least with not dying and working as a team haha not exactly winning
Fly fish and stringers should be your main priority if they spawn since they can attack from afar and can be a real pain in the ass when theres more than one of them.
I've noticed a lot of people just ignore cohozuna and go straight for eggs when you could be doing a lot more dps just shooting him with a good number of weapons

When he queued out of the lobby he was in and joined another he just did whatever I do when my team is garbage and if they are genuinely good but we lost.

Spawning grounds is terrible because its the first stage of splatoon 2 which was kinda in a rushed state so the stage is not as good as the well thought out other stages... Why does nintendo bring this stuff back
