what canonically happened to agent 4 after the third game

Im rpetty sure in one of the recent interviews it was revealed that the main inkling is literally a 4 copy and the other inklings are copies of the 4 copy

Could've sworn mine just used the short haircut from s2 and not my agent 4 design. I'll have to check later

@@VampLovr54 It changes from time to time after you fight them repeatedley. Second time i Fought them I had short haired inkling.

By "it had my Octoling configurations from 2", do you mean it skipped the Agent 8 creation screen? I transferred my save and it still made me recreate her.

@@BeeLy1011 No it gave me the choice to recreate it, however before touching anything, every single option defaulted to whatever my octoling had in Octo Expansion

I thought it references how 4 almost was the mc for octoexpansion

Canon is a musical term. Every enemy in this game has a musical term in the second word of their name.

When I read the name I thought about how not only are the single players for splatoon 2 literally right across from each other, they also both took place at the same time no? Since this fight was a clear reference to agent 4 I took more of the parallel thing. Though this may be my brain simply being dead after playing this game for so long

Oh cool ! I noticed that it picks the hairstyle of your inkling in Splatoon 3 but I thought that was it. But now again, hard to notice that it would actually copy the Splatoon 2 hairstyle as I picked the same hairstyle both in 2 and 3 xD

It’s not agent 4, from what the DLC says, they’re more like bots using Agent 4 as reference

I’m pretty sure it’s more of an Agent’s 4 AI clone or some like this

…This appears to be Agent 4. For me she has the same hair as my Inkling in Splatoon 2. I even went into the game and changed her hairstyle to see if this boss would change accordingly, and it did.

My A4 had the bowl cut and my parallel did

I hate the fact how people say parallel canon is the easiest bossfight in side order, yet they only play if all the hacks are on -_-

@@yaxier2558 True true, though i think it's good on Nintendo for adding the hacks as a mechanic since not everyone is cracked at PvE

me too, i mean, they seem to have *specific* mentions in this DLC and the parallel canon boss even uses your agent 4's hairstyle. but i don't know why they don't just SAY it's agent 4. it's a bit confusing

@@valenxizaw245 In comparison to the first game's campaign and Octo Expansion, sure it was lacking. But I didn't find to be terrible to the point I didn't want to play it again. Callie being brainwashed was a good concept on paper, but didn't hit like it could've in-game. That being said, Agent 4 still doesn't deserve to be forgotten for being part of the franchise's worst campaign.

@@rabbitlunatic it ESPECIALLY hurts when you've gotten crappy luck with the chips you got and you're playing a weapon that isn't great solo.

maybe the last fight could have been just one parallel inkling but it has AI similar to octo expansions agent 3 fight and tankier than the other parallel inklings with you fighting parallel agent 4

@@larsthememelord3383 tbh,while agent 3 is tough i think just having a crap ton of inkling clones does the job well since it's a perfect mix of not too hard and pretty hard. If you're quick in dispatching them they're easy to control and avoid becoming a threat. But if you hesitate too much it's VERY easy to die from due their onslaughts since they actually track you pretty well,always know where you are due to their drones,deal a crap ton of dmg,can have their drones summon jelletrons to even further overwelm you,and can ink turf to get you stuck. It's a test on how well you can crowd control enemy players. They're honestly imo the hardest of the 3 bosses.

The chip damage from Inkstorm helps a lot. In general the Brella is really good, especially if you have a fully upgraded Pearl to help cover your weapon kit’s limitations.

After beating the tower the first time theres a cube on the left of the elevator If you interact with it then you get the option to do the first tower again

they appear actually. the splattershot with splashdown is the one with hair. it's a bit hard to see since they're speedy little guys compared to other bosses being big machines

Your save file from Splatoon 2 determines the hair. It’s whatever you have on your Inkling. If you’re set as an Octoling or don’t have save data for Splatoon 2, I think it’s a random Inkling style.

Well, that basically confirms its agent four if the hair is chosen by your save file in 2

It will have the default splatoon 2 inkling girl hairstyle, if you’re male it’ll have the default splatoon 2 inkling boy hairstyle im pretty sure
