For being the magistrate of Order, Overlorder's fight is pretty chaotic.

So for everyone who doesn't know the Acht lore, which is fair since it was only revealed in outside media for Octo Expansion, heres your explanation. (Based entirely on Octo Expansion external media, not anything revealed in Side Order, so no spoilers here!) At the time of Octo Expansion, we only knew of Acht as her alias Dedf1sh and the DJ of the Deepsea Metro (unless you used her japanese name). She produced all of the music for that area. She was an up-and-coming DJ due to her "mimetic" sounding music, but suddenly all contact was lost with her. Her pursuit of breakneck perfection had led her to a certain underground facility that could help with that. According to Rassicas' translation of a Splatoon developer Q&A, "It is said that Dedf1sh wasn’t against the idea of being sanitized, and did it so that she could give up her doubts and conflicts about production and devote herself entirely to music." In that same interview it also clarifies some unclear plot details about Octo Expansion, such as confirming that the professor that owned Judd and the professor that made Tartar are the same person. I would give it a read if you're interested.

When I finished Side Order and return to Inkopolis Square there was an Inkling with a Splatsville post saying “Welcome Home!” And it reminded me of returning to 2 after 3’s demo and all the “Welcome Home Cheater” posts 😅

Hellll yes! 100 percent is definitely worth it, it gets easier as you go since you're getting upgrades from Marina

hang on… lemme be a big nerd for a sec when order deploys its reefsliders, there’s a musical cue when it happens. some of the enemies (marching andante, swarming arpeggio, etc) have musical motifs as well. the names actually (somewhat) reflect what the enemies do. for example, the parallel canon (the boss that’s a bunch of metal inklings) is a boss that looks very similar to the player (hence “parallel”) and they are all a team (hence “canon,” a musical motif that means “choir” or “together”). the effort into the small things such as these are pretty damn cool. these musical things are likely a reference to how marina was saved by the calamari inkantation. the more tech-y sounds that order makes are also probably an homage to how order was originally a bug in the memverse. if you couldn’t tell, im a big musical nerd. seeing nintendo put in obscure musical motifs is a bit strange but i absolutely LOVE it. also id totally want to see this on yt more. thanks for reading my big nerd moment!

seeing the splatoon 3 logo after the slow pan of inkopolis square was probably the most cognitive dissonance i have ever recieved from Any Thing Ever

The whole time I just wanted to scream "INK ALL THE TURF DANGIT!" Makes it easier to run away, fills up your special meter, damage and slows down enemies (depending on your upgrades).

Acht was in splatoon 2, they were the in universe music artist for all the octo expansion music and somewhere there was lore that they half sanitized themselves so they could only focus on their music, they changed this lore now in splatoon 3 but thats what we were told in splatoon 2, just look at any of the octo expansion music and you will see its made by deadf1sh (Achts stage name)

“Wait you’re telling me there are regular great white sharks?” Believe it or not, regular sea life is still around. The snack you buy that boosts your money has crab, shrimp, and fish fillets in it. Makomart also has seafood on the shelves. Also… shiver rides around on a normal great white shark you know… Since mammals are extinct the inklings get all their protein from poultry and seafood. It’s the same as how apes still exist even though we evolved from apes. They just live different lives in different habitats

You know... the most of us want to see you, how you get 100%. This is where the DLC really starts. Getting with every weapon to the top, feeling how you get stronger with every hack you got from Marina, knowing, you get closer to the last locker with every key you get. There is so much more to see and we would love it, if you do this. -TLoZforever (Yes, I am still alive watching your vids, amusing as always 👍)

The amount of people who dont get that part of the final fight is a rhythm section is crazy

I think the issue of you losing a lot was that you give up objective to kill enemies that aren't even a threat to you at the time. There were times where you had enough time to destroy the portal before enemies even had time to touch you but you went to kill them anyways.

Might be spoiler When that elevator popped up at the end I thought "To floor 60 we go!!"

Shark body plans have gone relatively unchanged since before trees existed on land, so the fact great whites still exist in the Splatoon timeframe isn’t that far fetched but it is funny as hell to see

I love the idea of stream highlights! Cuz I can imagine doing full runs would get repetitive and boring for you, but having chat to entertain you and cut out some of the boring bits for us would be awesome.

Fun fact, u learn more about Acht in later runs during conversations in the elevator and through Marina’s Dev Diaries about sanitation In one of the Dev Diary’s there is a background pic of Maria and Acht in the same class(?)

The last news segment certainly suggests that Deep Cut have been in Inkopolis Square, and that’s why they’re all spacey themselves… but nah, ANARCHY

Tip for overlorder, save the special for when the tentacles that you destroy to break the barrier appear, since you can get overwhelmed with the enemys and overlorders attacks

I have some tips for the reefsliders. They have a limited range, and their explosions physically cannot reach you at the back corners so its best to rush to them and hold your ground until its over.

Never gonna get over the fact that Jay never notices how doing vertical flicks does 1200 while horizontal only does 1000 which is what he was doing most of the time

I am so happy they brought Ebb and Flow back, that was my favorite song in Splatoon 2.

You definitely have to do every palette at least once! There’s rewards you can buy with perlz, and the chips you can get for some weapons are absolutely insane.

Make sure to read the weapons description's more they tell u what chips are more likely to appear. it helps predict how the max upgrades would feel (u can MAKE a hydra splatling with mini's charge and naut's recharge)

Acht is Dedf1sh from Splatoon 2 who was an octoling that got sanitized and was forced to be a DJ. She just showed up here in the Memverse because Marina wanted to help the sanatized octolings regain their memories.

Jay idk if anyone has mentioned this but Acht is also known as Dedf1sh in the splatoon universe and is behind a lot of the music that plays during octo expansion. There's some lore that you can find about them that explains how she keeps herself sanitized for her music.

Hello, I am here to express my frustration that in the Overlorder fight, I literally died at the very final part of the last phase. I used a Luna blaster, that octopus was almost entirely covered in my ink then it launched me off the map with the tentacle attack. I had to restart again, and failed again in the 29th floor. Haven’t been able to touch the DLC again since

Fun fact: When you return to side order after beating order for the first time. When Marina talks to you about the Palettes Jaymojis inkling is in the background on one her computer screen frames. An Easter egg perhaps?
