Another video inspired by my most recent stream, where I finally tried playing some Splatoon music. It went better than expected, and I wanted to give it a unique twist by going 1960s-1970s vintage hard rock! Hope you like it.
No sheet music for this one, but a MIDI file of the raw performance will be available for MIDI Patrons!

YES!! Splatoon music is here! I recently got pretty addicted to Splatoon’s music and actually wanted to ask you to play some in the last stream. Getting a cover of Splattack! is a pleasant surprise. You should definitely check out more Splatoon music - I really like it even though it sounds completely different from Zelda music (which I am a huge fan of as well). This cover is superb and amazing too!

First I had some trouble parsing the weird vocals, but now I can definitely see the hype. Splatoon 3 has some amazing tunes as well. Not very surprising, as Toru Minegishi - Splattack's composer - used to be the main Zelda composer for a while. He co-wrote Majora's Mask & Wind Waker and was the main composer for Twilight Princess. Hope this video does well, I wouldn't mind doing Anarchy Rainbow and/or one of the Splatfest tracks from the recent demo!

@@demantim Ah, I didn’t know Splattack’s composer was a Zelda composer too! Well, that might make some sense how I’d fall for these pieces, haha. Zelda music is my first love after all. And you should definitely do Anarchy Rainbow - it currently lives rent-free in my head and will not leave (in a good way). Keep up the good work, Tim!

Doesn't matter to me! A cover is an opportunity for an artist to put their own spin on a song, not for it to sound exactly like the original, and I think Tim did it excellently
