If you're not playing at top level, pro is great for getting kills without having to sacrifice control of an area due to its long range. Its low rng is also a plus. Angle shooter on the original model is one of the only things holding it back in S3.

@@omgryannn I'm a splatershot pro main and I sometimes think to myself man it would be great if the splatershot pro painted a little bit better... and then I remember the squeezer exists and solves that issue

I think the issue that its a generalist thats lackluster/outclassed. Though for the most part, if you want it to go from decent to actually serviceable. It could use an Ink consumption buff and maybe a tiny paint buff. As it stands, they run out of steam if any team fight become long.

splattershot pro has been a fave weapon of mine on-and-off since splatoon 1, this was a great look at it. it's weird, knowing that it's often a suboptimal choice, but it feels familiar and has its charm yknow?

I feel like the effectiveness of this weapon depends on the map, if there's too many obstacles then you can't take advantage of the range effectively

I disagree. On open maps backliners Like charger and splatling eat it for lunch. It works best in any environment equally. Which is why it sucks. It always equally is meh whatever you do

You didn’t talk about MPU on splattershot pro! Getting potential 2 shot kills was a huge plus and it was super popular to run it with MPU

I think the Pro is neither broken or useless, I like it, it's a easy to pick weapon that can do interesting things, but is more limited than other harder weapons. It neither suck, neither is broken, in my opinion.

Pro doesn't need to be a meta pick, it's always been a good well rounded weapon with good kits. And I'll always use it regardless of the meta since it's never a bad choice
