Watching this after Deep Cut’s reveal makes me miss the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook a little I love Deep Cut, But it’s not the same, the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook are classics now and I can’t wait to see them again 💝💚💖💙
@Keynan Martinez Yeah, me too, I guess we just have to get used to Deep Cut, and we’ll still be able to see our princess of wholesomeness, as well as our queen of sassy banter in Hero Mode and from what we saw, our empress of good vibes and the Goddess of Fresh Beats in a DLC I still would’ve loved a Squid Sisters and Off the Hook quartet though, this really makes me miss them and think how well it could’ve worked.
@Internet Guy That’s okay, I’m struggling to get used to them, they will probably grow on me though. Well to be fair, I so like Frye, she’s such a cheerful little genie and I love Shiver, she kind of has a similar vibe to Marie in a way and I do like BEEG MAN, and the idea of their genie aesthetic is so unique
@Random_Aj_Edits Me too, I’m struggling, but I do like them a little, i don’t hate them, but, it’s just not the same. I guess I’ve gotten used to the hyperpop style, that this new style doesn’t really feel right. I do appreciate Nintendo doing something different though

I cannot fathom the amount of skill and self confidence one would need to have to sing in only squid noises for almost half an hour, but I admire it deeply.
When I did the submission for the Now or Never choir, that's all I was expecting -- Now or Never. Instead we got almost half an hour of amazing music. I still think the Now or Never was the highlight of the medley, but I have found several new music artist rabbit holes do go down. Can't wait for what Splatoon music has in store in the future, both official and fan-made.
This medley feels like Splatoon 2's final hours of glory. Once Splatoon 3 was being shown off, the whole community came together to end this 5 years of disconnects, raging, dumb squid partying, ranking up, and trivial splatfest off with a bang. But not only does it show off Splatoon 2, it calls back to the OG game, giving off the feeling of a grand revival of the series as a whole after the Final Fest. All of these remixes are bangers! It's surprising how fantastic everyone did. (also your voice is perfect for into the light just wanted to point that out)

How did I miss this, this was honestly incredible. Everyone's parts were so good this hardly even felt like 25 minutes. Also can I just add that the vocals for both the squid sisters and off the hook were fricking adorable?? Because they were and now I'm kinda sad they don't sound that cute in the game.

I've never been too big in the Splatoon cover scene, so I'm surprised to see so many recognizable faces. Even with the large collab, every cover goes above and beyond with the quality and fits together in their own unique way. Also I forgot how good the og sploon songs are and I need to go back and check them out too

This was amazing! You're all fantastic and I'm excited to have this and more of y'all's works in my playlist! A special note about the lyrics: one of my favorite parts of Splatoon music is the nonsensical lyrics, to the point that I've even memorized a couple songs worth. So it was absolutely a pleasure to find they were included throughout the entire medley. Might finally be time to learn the rest of the songs in here? Anyways due to mental issues I have a hard time hearing speech, so it was especially a treat that even with the filters applied I was able to "understand" the lyrics (ie hear phonetics instead of just noise) much better than I would have expected.
That was so good and awesome! We can try to help out on remixing one of the video game songs, of another video game, if you want! We made a couple of remixes of some of the songs that we’d made, for future game projects that we’re planning on making, so we guess that we can help you remix a video game song one day for a future video!
