My question is would it hold its quality long-term and not have any problems because I seen the comment of the gears messing up that’s what I am worried about if I wasted $100 on a gun that would break in two months
It's not a durable blaster. I haven't had a lot of issues, but many people have. I think a lot of problems are caused by shooting full auto for too long periods of time. So keep your shots in short bursts.
That sucks! I doubt Splatrball will sell with metal gears. Gel blasters or airsoft guns that come stock with metal gears cost $200+ I believe that the reason the gears strip so quickly in Splatrball is that they don't have the motor adjustment screw that pushes the motor into the bevel gear for proper engagement. Here's my metal gear upgrade, but ain't for the faint of heart - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3o4r5-Xr93U.html
I almost commented that someone already tested the blue led's inside the gun and they work to get the tracer glow. Good thing I paid attention or I would have linked you your own video....
@@engineerable Does the splatrball gun shoot more accurately than the UnlocX gel blaster gun? And does it shoot more accurately ONLY in semi-auto mode or does it shoot more accurately than the UnlocX in auto mode as well?
@@qlixte1896 Splatrball sucks in semi auto. Before buying one, I thought semi auto would be preferred mode, but with Gel blasters, it's better to have it on full auto and shoot bursts. UNLOCX has comparable accuracy and FPS in pistol mode, which is cool because it's a much shorter gun.
Tbh single shot mode sucks. It often shoots 2 at a time, which reduces accuracy. If I want to shoot one shot, I usually leave it on full auto and just quickly pull the trigger. It works better than single shot.
@@engineerable ya thats true I was thinking about that and if I'm in a fight or something with my friends im more than likely not gonna use a single shot
Performance is basically the same because they use the same gearbox and barrel. SRB1200 has slightly faster rate of fire, probably due to the elimination of the single fire mechanism.
Hi,I recently got a hydro strike pulsar pro gel blaster and couldn't find any videos on upgrading its parts or a full dive into reviewing its internals.i was hoping you can do a video on this gel blaster.
I don’t know if anyone will see this but should I get the SRB 400 or some cheap Amazon gel blaster? I want to get a gel blaster but I don’t know which one is better (quality, fire rate, and how much it hurts)
@@engineerable thanks soo much your the best , I’m buying my UNLOCX pistol this week! 😄(most of my friends told me to get a SRB 400 but know I won’t, and. I’ll beat them)

@@engineerable So having the longer barrel attachment equipped on the UnlocX makes it less accurate, but taking that off so the barrel becomes as short as possible makes it comparable and similar to the splatrball gun in accuracy? Does the longer barrel attachment really reduce accuracy that much? Or can it be negligible?
@@qlixte1896 The barrel extension does reduce accuracy. The problem is that the extension has a much larger ID, and therefore the air can flow around the gel balls and the balls can roll along the wall creating an uncontrolled spin. The gel balls spin off all over the place when the extension is on. Cylinder volume to barrel length ratio, and gel ball spin (hop up) are the factors that affect accuracy more than barrel length. I will be modding the UNLOCX extension with a hop up, and that should prove accuracy.
@@engineerable Is the brand of the Gel balls I'm using for the Unlocx a huge factor that affects accuracy as well? Thanks to you, I now plan on getting 2 UnlocX guns but I don't know if buying cheap off brand Gel balls instead of the UnlocX branded Gel balls for my ammo will make the gun shoot the cheap off brand balls less accurately. Have you ever used off brand Gel balls? Is there even a difference in accuracy at all?
@@qlixte1896 Most of my testing has been done with the stock UNLOCX gel balls, which are average/cheap quality. Hardened gel balls usually improve accuracy, range and reliability.
I got an question.... can I just order any orbee ammo for the splatrball gun instead of just ordering the ones that suppose to be used with the splatrball gun
@@engineerable okay thank you so much I just got my srb1200 I put my orbese in water and they don’t look big they grew but I’ve been groins them for about 10 hours or more and they still havnt gotten bigger can u do a video of showing the orbese close up please I want to know what size they should be
Neither is durable. They are just OK and you can have lots of fun with them. Expect to spend $150+ for something that shoots harder and is more durable.
@@eliprather3941 probably not. I would expect about 100k rounds. I'm building a test fixture to test gel blaster life span before something breaks. That way we can compare the durability of all blasters.
You probably don’t give handouts but I was trying to see are you doing a give away because I’ve been wanting the srb1200 for a while but don’t have enough money?
@@engineerable oh that’s ok I was just asking because I don’t have much money and I was asking when we’re you doing a give away or are you doing one for the srb400?
@@__.VEX.__ It seems that some blasters come with or without the hole, but just because it has the hole doesn't mean that there is an adjustment screw.
