I noticed other comment here that ”we” are travelling… That’s right you are not travelling alone but with us. Thank you for taking us to nice cruise again. We had nice cabin and delicious food. 😁
I’m disabled and travelling anywhere & staying in a balanced way so I can go see things or even say walking in the countryside is extremely rare. But I’m quite happy to see things through someone else’s eyes and camera 😀 a lot less painful too. I’ve seen so many things around the world I consider myself lucky to have the internet, when I was in the last year of school before going to high school we got 1 pc in school that didn’t really do much 🤨 I wouldn’t have considered the idea of being at home and watching someone take me on their trip and experiences 🙂
Yea cause thats exactly like ha in someone with u.... no interactions because the video is probably weeks after the trip... bet u tell urself u ha e alot of friends just from people replying to u on the internet? Lmao pathetic
The camera shake upon discovering the glow stick, and when the boat's horn went off, are two of my favorite parts. I love that your videos always have little things like that that make me laugh or smile and give us a hint to the personality behind the camera. 🙂
Me too I'd love to see that wish more dock workers did the wave saw one time too they even Stood on the loading bridge and waved out the open window so cute 🥰
It’s sad that those balloons will end up right in the ocean. Japan is not as aware of the environmental damage of single use packaging and garbage as other parts of the world. I first noticed this in the 1980s when a Japanese exchange student who stayed with my family commented on how Japanese beaches were full of garbage, unlike California beaches.
I was sitting there, going 'Kitsuto-Katsuto?' until the glowstick waving, and while I was enjoying just how much effort went into the crew giving the ship a nice send off, I went, 'Oh, Kit-Kats!'
Your delight at the glow stick brings me so much joy. 😆 If it makes you feel any better, I would have been right there with you waving too, my adorable friend.
The waving part is really touching it's like a loved one is wishing you a safe trip I love it... The cabin is spacious nice 👍☺️ and the best part is the sun rise 🌞 well it's a relaxing eps. See you on your next trip ☺️👍❤️
My husband is watching golf on tv right now, I am sitting next to him watching your video, when you picked up the glow stick I started getting really excited waving my pretend glow stick in my hand! Now I can wave with a glow stick! Then you said calm down! I had to laugh out loud! Thank for that! I always enjoy you videos! ❤️
I wish I could have seen your expression when you saw that glow stick. Lol! That looks super awesome though! I love just watching your adventures! Cheers from the USA
You just made my day….. Lots of rotten news this week. I love your ferry adventures…..it’s my dream to travel like you. Thank you. Please keep making these adventures so we can vicariously travel through you. ❤️
Such a nice closure 🙌 It's like some sort of a compensation for the other time, when you bought a light stick, so that you could wave at the guys on the platform, but couldn't, because the deck was closed 🚢 I'm so glad you didn't drop the camera 😁 Thank you for this lovey video! 🎇
So not only did you get to wave off to those at the dock, they provided the glow stick? Not only that, right after Solo gets to chow down on two kinds of curry? Don't want to jinx it but it looks like everything is coming up Solo. I liked the design of that room as well, the wrap around from the headboard to the seating area to the desk was a nice look. The bathroom, though on the small side, was completely serviceable. Looked like a really nice trip, thanks for sharing.
You are awesome!! I laughed out loud when you found the glow stick in your room! So cool! Your videos always brighten my day! Thank you for sharing your travels and your fun! All the best to you from the US! 😀😀
My feeling is going on a decent length ferry ride is like a low key cruise. You’re out on the water and can get some nice fresh air, exercise, and rest. It’s of course less like a party but still can be very relaxing. In addition less formal.
That little send-off hit me right in the soul-quiet glowstick waving, quiet balloons. It was so precious. I was yelling YATTA under my breath as I watched it.
I really enjoy your presentation style. No voice, just pleasant captions. I have never been so at peace when traveling. A definite sub; I'm looking forward to more of your travel vids.
I'm so happy they gave you a waving glow stick , as soon as I saw the glow stick I told my self now he can wave to the crew , I'm so happy for you , enjoy your voyage
A ferry with a string quartet playing in the foyer. That surely has to be a first. Loved the send off with the glow sticks, balloons and the ship's horn, not surprised it made you jump, they can be very loud. That cabin was as well appointed as the one I had on a medium size cruise liner for a trip halfway around the World. Another really interesting video and I like the little touches of humour you add to your descriptions.
I might be wrong but I think the string quartet was there because it was one day after the release of the ship to the public. A kind of celebrating thing for the people who are first to use the ship. I don't know if they are there if you go on the same trip a year later. But if you know the answer, hey let me know!
Watching you and the port folks waving I thought how nice it is to see people just doing something so simple but so nice. The world we live in now is so hard and negative so it warms me to see this. Happy journies to you!!
I just love that you help me understand the distance by showing it on Google maps. That just showing ultimate courtesy to those of us not familiar with your country. Thank you so very much.
The new ship looked amazing! The room was very nice as well, and I got excited when I saw the glowstick, although not as excited as you were, I bet! You got to wave back this time! The food looked amazing as well, luckily I just ate, or I would be getting hungry.
I started my graduation project this week and have been so, so stressed and didn't realize how much peace and laughter your videos give me! When I get ready for bed, I know that I can travel another leg of the journey in your camera lens, so thank you for all the fun comments, great and honest critiques and comments, and all the laughter you share with us! This one felt especially heartwarming because of the pure joy the glowsticks gave 🤗 Lots of support, appreciation, and love from Hawaii! 🥳
I love how the traveller makes us feel we are travelling with him! I never k ew so much about Japan…amazing! But my favourite part of the video are his commentary! At times Im actually laughing! Thank you for this cool video! :)
This was such a fun video to watch. Such a lovely journey, I especially liked the wave good-bye, the sunrise and had a laugh when the the loud boat horn scared you! Thanks so much for sharing. 😃
Laura from the USA here. Congratulations!! The staff left you, and only you, your first glow stick!! (Or rather your first working glow stick) I almost felt like the balloons were for us!🍭 You and your subscribers!! This was one of your better videos and I thank you!! 🇺🇸❤🌍🌎🌍☮🇯🇵
What I really like about your channel are you put some witty comments on your video, and there is no need to turn on CC. The script is embedded, so it's easier to watch while working without missing any single comment. Thanks for your hard work!
How neat it must have been to be able to be one of the first passengers on a brand new ferry. That room is very beautiful and looks comfortable. I wonder if I'm the only one that noticed what looked to be a face made of ketchup on your mini Italian hamburger steak. Lol. It looked as though it was surprised. 😯 It's left eye (or right, looking at it, is either closed or missing. 😂
Thank you, I am getting old and will never experience the beauty of Japan and travel experiences there in person. Your work provides much appreciated education and virtual experience. Have a blessed week.
Such a nice send off!!! 🎈🎈🪅Love that we got to wave bye this time!!!! Ship and cabin looked amazing - still had that 'new car' smell, lol. I jumped too when the steam whistle blew, even though you warned us, lol. Thanks for taking us along!!!
Hi sir... We are from India. All your videos are superb. Thank u for sharing. Because in life time we cannot see Japan but through your videos we can see all tours
You make me smile brother. When I come to visit Japan after I will the lottery, how will I ever identify you? You never show your face. If I travel on a Ferry in Japan, and you happen to be on the same one, I wouldn't even know!!! It's good to see you in a beautiful cabin, good sea conditions, and eating well. Look forward to the next my friend. Greetings and well wishes, from Washington, USA.
Another great ferry adventure..😊. Cabin looks great and dinner was delicious..!. Thank you for making me smile..😚. Always enjoy your videos..thank you so much!..Look forward for your next adventure..😊
All your adventures are super great but this was super fantastic.. I was so excited for you with that glow stick and to be able to wave something you have waited for for so long ..and the food looked absolutely spectacular.. it's a pleasure to be able to share in your JOY..USA..
Philippines is also a island country like Japan so i guess you guys also have a lot ferry too. How does Philippines's ferry compare with Japan's ferry?
Another excellent video. Thank you. I've travelled on the Washington State Ferries, British Columbia Ferries and the Alaska Marine Highway (ferry) and enjoyed them all very much and watching your videos takes me back to those trips and makes me want to travel again ASAP.
The longest BC trip is from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy through the inside passage and it's notable for how close the beautiful mountain scenery is to boat and you see sights you couldn't see any other way. The cruise ships go up the coast on the ocean side of Vancouver Island.
The populations of Port Hardy and Prince Rupert are 4,000 and 12,000 not in the millions like Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo but the trip is very enjoyable and the food service is top notch and what you're traveling for is the scenery and BC Ferries is to be commended for the service it provides for tourists and residents alike.
@@johnmiller8975 The trip from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert is around 10 hours on BC Ferries and the trip from Bellingham, WA to Seward, AK is three days to four days depending on how you split up the trip and you really should stop in Skagway to ride the only rack and pinion railway in North America and see scenery and then stay in Glacier Bay National Park and take the Glacier Bay boat tour which is a multi day affair with whale watching and bear watching tours so 2 weeks to do it right. All the while you're surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery in the world with the highest oceanside mountains in the world. Check out the videos and you'll be amazed. Crossing the Spencer Sea between Glacier Bay and Seward can be an experience and when I did it the waves were breaking over the seventh deck and as I was taking pictures from the top deck I looked up and the captain was taking pictures from the bridge so I knew that we were truly in it.
Wow the cabin has hotel vibes!👍👏👏 Loving those fluffy clouds and the scenery of the sea the sun the sky👏 Thank you for sharing this and waiting for your next video!
Wow nice ship. Thanks for bringing us along. Live music is certainly a classy touch. A weekend without your shared travels is not a full weekend. Thanks so much for your dedication, humour, info and insight you provide us viewers ( some of us are fans ).
Yes, you will always remember that they waved back at you this time! I always watch your trying to be seen waving and to get them to wave back. Your videos inspire me to one day travel in Japan and wave my own glow stick on a ferry. Thank you. My in-laws in Denmark always wave when someone who leaves until out of sight. This is why I love that you try to wave to the land crew as you pull away from port. I am happy you made the sunrise! Thought you may have overslept it when you stated you slept.
Such a beautiful ship. I love the water wall with changing lights. I bet everything smelled so new. When so nice a cruise, too bad it's only half a day. And what a send off you got, light sticks and balloons. Thank you for sharing this ride.
