My dad brought a new platina100 in 2008...now it has runed more than 3.5L kms... He still maintaining it properly ... In initial stages it gave mileage of 80-90km/L and now it gives around 75/L...and It still giving its efforts ..
My father bought a splendour plus in 2008 and he passed away in 2012, by that time I couldn't ride bikes at all. So it stood unattended for more than 4 years. Even after all those abuse and me trying to ride as a total newbie that bike went through a lot. Now to this day it's the primary commuter bike in my home. Fucking love that piece of machine. I would never sell or just throw away that thing. Still runs like a new bike with very good mileage and stuff not any big complaints till date. Even my Girlfriend loves riding with me in that bike! 😉

In the matter of mileage Platina ahead of all the 100/110 cc bikes including Hero Spender...riding comfort is also good enough to other bikes but only within city ...in 2006 i bought Bajaj CT100 which gave above 90 mileage per litre of petrol upto three years after that it dropped to 60-65 in cities still it was a good commuter bike with very low cost maintenance....i like Baja CT platina and Pulsar... In Hero my first preference is Passion Pro and then Splender Super splendor

We just brought new Splendor x tex, it's not up to the mark. It has no side stand engine cut off, it's only indictor. Also the digital console isn't that accurate. Fuel indicator is incorrect for first 5-10 min

I have a platina bro. Positives: over 1 lakh runs good no engine problem till now. No engine noise same as new nothing changed Negatives: Milege is not consistent. Headlight visibility is very poor. Pickup is very slow.
