This video showcases how masterful and intricate Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory was/is, relating to its writing of dialogue. EVERYTHING about this game stands the test of time and is as fun/engrossing today as it was in 2005. I hope to see new Splinter Cell games cast from the same mold as Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory because it is the pinnacle of what I personally expect from the stealth genre. I can't say enough good things about it.
Always been my favorite of the series and yes the graphics aren't the best but for sure hold up today. If the do a remaster they probably only need to redo facial animation and some texture but all in all I would buy it in a heartbeat
17:48 The one in which Sam Fisher pretends to be "Harry Tuttle" is my favourite joke in all the Splinter Cell series, I think it's the most clever Sam said in the whole series, so funny ;-) "I'm an ill tempered and heavily armed engineers asking questions" hahahaha
The Mogadishu line is a reference to the Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia in the early 90's - where the infamous Black Hawk Down disaster occurred - the joke being that the guy was working for the enemy warlord. Pretty sure it's not a reference to some budget game that nobody's ever heard of.
I know this is an obscure reference, but, during the Hokkaido level, when the guys watching the TV regarding the Slugs, if you EMP the TV, theres a small section of a Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 soundtrack (sounds like "Long Ago")...from the Track called Grinder...made me smile hearing it:-)

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was released in March 2005, so they're actually talking about Warrior Within which came out at the end of November 2004 :) The Two Thrones came out December 2005...
You're right. Though it could also be telling the fans of the series that a new game's approaching if Ubisoft didn't release any kind of trailer in March of 2005, so this is why I said it's about the Two Thrones. :P
But they were saying "it's going to be game of the year" so I doubt they'd be talking about a game released in 2004. Especially seeing as Chaos Theory takes place in 2007.
True but an easter egg doesn't have to be time accurate when it's about a secret. The events of the game and the time in real life and secret don't have to be related, if you get what I mean.
At 15:15 the subtitles say "punk band kenshin lead singer arrested - again" The band Kenshin did all the license free music you here on all the radios throughout the game
You know whats cool about all this, that as the ghost recon and third echelon are doing intelligence ops there's a chance templars and assassins could be in their ranks
@@SplinterCellVideoGameSeries If you rushed it, it's okay. It is still a hard work piling these videos up. It's not an easy and i'm sorry if i said i keep pausing. Although most of them are actually hard to know when you are too focused on the missions.

Easter Eggs n Secrets. Then puts Lambert's "This is no video game Fisher". SMH That is literally unavoidable commentary. How is that a secret or easter egg?
Did you read the whole text at 4:29? It's not about Lambert saying : This is no video game. - it's about the dialogue before that line. In the previous games, if you reached 3 alarms the game would be over instantly, but in this game, instead of being instant game over, Lambert will cancel your optional objectives/opportunity objectives. Hope I clarified this reference and you're not shaking your head anymore.
