In this video, we look at how to separate multiple lines of text into separate cells using Text to Columns.

We do not need VBA or Power Query (as great as they are) to get this job done.
We are used to providing Text to Columns with a delimiter such as a comma, space or semi-colon. Here that delimiter is a line break.
That is not a usual option with Text to Columns, but it is more than capable.

Great Trick never knew this.This trick (using CTRLJ) works with the replace function as well but allows the data in the cell to remain in the cell.

1:06 text to columns - based on delimiter hey, so, this' not the video for going from alternate rows to different columns? the use case being a pdf containing data in multiple (visual) columns, but copying from them makes them all in single column. So....

You will need to concatenate them with a formula such as TEXTJOIN or Merge columns in Power Query. The specific answer would depend on your data.

The formula would look like this: =Concatenate(C2," ",D2," ",E2," ",F2) (using alt+enter between each pair of quotes.) Then you just have to make sure you have text wrap turned on for that cell.
