So if a Pro At Anything, say…Rock Climber gives you tips…You just say. Hey “Personal Preference.????” Is that right? Wow you must be a Professional also! Orrrrr. Your Ego blocks you from taking advice and getting better!
@@M1nistersBlackVeil okay then. Don’t take professional advice. Move on. Don’t talk down to a professional giving Advice tho. That simple. And it’s not different actually
Lol I am colorblind and it is always funny to me when the pros would put colorblind mode on to see enemies better. I am just trying to see people at all when maps are really colorful.
for controller, I use left trigger and bumper for my portals...I like having right bumper for melee, and I just click-to-zoom on right stick like in old school Halo. You can even Y/Y out just like back in the old days. If you have trigger stops, set it as short as it goes for the portal trigger, so it acts more like a button.
if you like high sens but still want good aim control (on xbox) I would recommend: Horizontal: 7.0 Vertical: 8.0 Aim acc: 3.5 ZSM: 0.7 inner deadzone: 0.11 outer deadzone: 0.1 the high vertical sens makes the ar and smg have no recoil at all.
I believe it's best to know the reason WHY people use their settings so you can decide what's most important to you, and base your settings off of that.
Hey dude, really glad Splitgate is taking off, gonna be great for you. Question though, does anybody at your level use keyboard? I am learning to use controller and I'm still shredding. But my aim on mouse is much better, so I was wondering if it's viable at high levels or if it will be detrimental.
@@tanner-splitgatepro7559 interesting, great video btw and super cool to see you at the top of the leaderboards rocking a controller. Can't wait to see you in the pro circuit.
I ain’t gonna lie I like the crowd interaction so I actually have my ambient turned down rather than all the way off it makes those s crazy plays just a tad more satisfying and helps build my momentum as a player. I come from fighting games btw
When u started talking about the jump and left joystick I found out that using a ps4 controller the distance from left joy and the jump is closer than xbox
I personally like having jump on left bumper, crouch in right bumper. A for right portal (yellow portal) and B for left Portal (Purple portal) that way I have a very fine aim for portals and I have quick movement through the maps. What I would like to get for console is portal quality, I don’t like that "wavy" effect on portals because sometimes I can’t see really well through them, and I also like a clear portal where you see everything clear and not "wavy".
my personal favorite for having no paddles is bumper jumper (i edit it a bit make it closer to halo bumper jumper). and i play on playstation, so i just play claw where the dpad is to open my portals.
I'm controller on PC. Got my sens at 14.5 with 5 acceleration and I shred somehow. Never thought I could be so accurate on such high sensitivity. Zoom sens is about 0.65. Got my left joystick for jumping and right for running
I have my triggers and bumpers switched. T is portal, B is aim and fire. I wrap my right pointer finger over the top of the controller to press the letter buttons while middle finger is on the bumper to fire.
I just started, I played halo a lot I turned my jump button to LT. my zoom to the right Joystick. And my melee is my A button. I can use the jump thrusters without having to claw or anything like that
I don't think it's true that 0 outer deadzone means you can't get max input, I use 0 outer deadzone and I still get acceleration. I'm pretty sure it would just mean the max input is the maximum you can physically go on the thumbstick. I'd have to test it again but I'm pretty sure I still get acceleration.
this game has so much stuff for helping controller i was playing ranked and i was getting beamed down by a kid that didnt even have his crosshair on me with a sniper and it was hitting me i was not on the edge on the crosshair i was super far away and he had a sniper and he wasnt aiming at me and he shot the fucking air and it killed me multiple times
I’m in diamond 2 rn in takedown and I have my sensitivity at like 9ish. It’s crazy to me cuz i’ve been trying to find some pros settings to see how fast i need my sensitivity but everyone says to lower it. Idk i just wanna be top 100 any way how lmao so looks like lowering it is!
100% agree with lowering, once I did it I started sticking to my targets like crazy, no more, land one shot, miss one shot, if you miss sure, but once you hit you keep hitting even if they’re moving because you have complete control over your aim at that point
Tanner, all day today I've been getting shit on by Xbox Players.... I took your advice and I have won 8 or 9 in a row... Most of them against Xbox Players.... Thank you! You have earned my sub
Never thoud a controller player was #1 in this game I come from halo 5 and it felt like I this game I’m putting myself at a disadvantage with playing controller instead of mous and keyboard
@@Chilljam Idk how and why but the PC version seem don't have aim assit to me. It's too hard to aim even my crosshair is always near enemies but they keep moving and the gun won't auto aim on them make it too hard to shoot accuracy
@@BruceWaynesFactory its only good on long range and sometimes if you want to portal somewhere and an enemy runs past that wall the crosshair follows and i miss the wall
I really don’t get how it’s possible to play on these low settings and people are good with them. My brain just doesn’t compute using such low settings 😂 I’m on 18 with 3.5ac
As a pc player, the aim assist for controllers have killed this game for me. I am sick of being required to use pinpoint mouse accuracy only to watch my shots barely miss in the kill cam while the person killing me is being practically given free kills just for aiming near me. Also cant turn cross-play off so as a PC player you are at a huge disadvantage. Combine that with the fact like over half of the players are actually bots with even heavier auto aim and the game quickly becomes a frustrating uphill battle. I quit after 50 hours/2 weeks.
Killcams not accurate you can’t go off that, aim assist only slows it doesn’t drag or have bullet magnetism, the aim assist In This game is lower than pretty much every other game, 99% of top/pro players are mnk
Showing damage numbers is completely useless and just a distraction with no benefits. You have audio and visual indicators that work very well. Headshots make a certain sound that is easily heard and you have indicators around your crosshair to differentiate body vs head shot hits.
No headshot noise that separate it from a normal hit marker, the reticle turns red on any part of the body, there’s no crosshair change to indicate headshot
@@tanner-splitgatepro7559 Headshots and body shots have a completely different sound. The crosshair you selected doesn't actually change but theres white indicators around your crosshair indicating headshots vs bodyshots. I don't know why you are having trouble realizing these things or if there's a difference in PC or console. Im on the latest build for PS5.
i literally watched your settings video when i downloaded this game and now a few weeks later i matched up against u n beat u (ur team was quite bad tbf) ggs tho
