You can tell he is a good actor, because most actors seem similar to their most iconic character, but Jason Lee seems so different from Earl in every way.

I love Kevin Smith and I love Jason Lee but I always feel like Kev has no idea how big of a deal J. Lee was in the skateboard world, and still is. Dude is legendary.

They had their 100 episodes for syndication (or close enough). Any show that has enough episodes to go into syndication and has not yet jumped the shark should go off the air on top. There was a recent episode of some new show, sorry didnt catch the name of it, that had a reunion of sorts for the MNE crew, see if you can find it, it was pretty funny.

Scientology = UGH!! Sucks soooo much that they have him...**Jason Lee wasn't "JUST" a Pro skater in late 80's and early-mid 90's BUT he was Thee HANDS DOWN #1 most popular, influential skater alive. The ONLY skater to have his own AIRWALK SHOES besides Tony Hawk..That was a big deal then because Jason Lee was 100% street skater..good luck finding those airwalks brand new for under $500..ugh! **Dude was roomates with Mark Gonzales. and his 2 years with blind created a culture movement. fact! The Gonz! The Gonz started blind skateboards with Jay Lee....He also stood up to Skater bad@ss #1 Mike Valeley, created the smooth Tre flip. and showed the world to skate faster and with G R A C E..Soft perfect landings were a thing after Video Days... -When MallRats dropped I was stoked because Kason Lee aka Brody aka The Brody was him playing himself. Not the comic nerd but personality type....Every skater was effected by him going Scientology..I feel bad for him because I know he lost all his fans and I know it effects him..******I saw him @ The Berrics and lal the pro skaters are cheeringhim for sponsoring The Berrics finals BUT pro and Am skaters aren't his fans. His fans arethe dudes who skated then and are now 35-50 years old and now spend a lot of money on decks and whatevs...Actually, him starting Stereo skateboards was him falling off the map for me...Yeah his Visual SOund part was GNAR, and so was Jason AT that time,,but he lost command of respect because Stereo was too artsy fartsy.....RIP Jason. Uh...well, to be fair, I'd suggest to you that 99.9 percent of the mainstream has no real idea how big Lee was in skateboarding. It's not like being a professional skateboarder is akin to being a pro-football player or something. Unless you're talking about Tony Hawk 9 times out of 10 most people probably couldn't name you a single pro-skater.
