മാഡത്തിന്റെ ഇംഗ്ളീഷ് നല്ല രീതിയിലാണ്. എന്നാൽ മലയാളം പലപ്പോഴും അങ്ങനെയല്ല. ഉദാ:- ഒരാളെ / ഒരു വ്യക്തിയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് "താങ്കൾ" എന്നാണ്; 'നിങ്ങൾ' എന്നല്ല. "നിങ്ങൾ" എന്നുള്ളത് ബഹുവചനമാണ്. ശ്രദ്ധിയ്ക്കുമല്ലൊ.

'നിങ്ങൾ' ബഹുവചനമോ ഏകവചനമോ ആകാം. മലയാളത്തിൽ ഒരാളെ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒന്നിലധികം പേരെ informal (എന്നാൽ polite) ആയി അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യാൻ 'നിങ്ങൾ' എന്നു പറയാം. വളരെ formal ആയി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രായത്തിൽ മുതിർന്ന ഒരാളെ ബഹുമാനത്തോടെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യാനാണ് 'താങ്കൾ' എന്നു പറയുന്നത്. നമ്മൾ daily life-ൽ സാധാരണ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് “നിങ്ങൾ” ആണ്. 😊
