@OneOuttaOne I love this band! They’ve helped me through hardship, depression and the days I just felt bitterness and anger for giving all I have and not feeling like I was met with enough reflection/respect (mostly in workplaces- and I am sure a lot of people can relate to that).
Cried myself to sleep to this song as a tween, countless nights. Depression, Anxiety, never feeling like I belonged -- it did get better. I still struggle with all of those things, but I've been lucky enough to find people worth spending this life with and they make it all worth it ♥️. Would recommend this song to any teenager struggling to find themselves and where they belong.
Yo! Y’all are not alone. Take this song and use it to help you what ever shape or form. It’s been so long since I heard this and it hits hard! Love everyone you meet and it will change. Things will get better, this I promise you.
When he does those long wailing notes...just chills. Listened to these guys back in the early 2000's when I was in high school and trying to find myself. Haha. Good times.
+Kris In Love They have a new CD coming out, I just pre-ordered it. Matt is totally bald now...and listening to this gave me chills as well. One of my most listened to CD's for years. Sadly all my CD"s got stolen my senior year of highschool from my truck....don't even have it and I got it signed too. :-(
Just found an old cd .... this was the first song and it started al over again.... the tears the feelings everything,, but now at the same time i look beside me and see the most beautyfull and sweetst boy in the world my son my everything hé made it all allright again... and he instantly asked me "gaat alles goed papa?" ARE you ok dad? And my answer to him "you saved me" and he gave me a big hug
I saw these guys in 2004 at a Christian music festival in Mn, and tbh I bought this album and it changed my life. 2 weeks later i ended up moving across the country for my senior year of high school as my parents’ job had changed, and this album got me through that abrupt change and nee dynamic. They came into my life right on time, almost like it was God’s plan or something
@@ek6776 i e-mailed Matt this year about it and shared with him how God is now using me to minister and love on others ..... Really cool guy from the bit of talking we did!
@@harpazohope , keep going. I take courage from the Bible, many people in the Bible received the promise 10,20,30,40, even a hundred years later. I won't completely understand God's timing till I am with Him forever, but you are loved and cared for! Much love!
@@nofearchannel2055 I find comfort that God is my "exceedingly great reward." Like the hymn says... Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. Oh for grace to trust Him more." I also like the honesty of the original post.
Matt Baird was just in my town last night! Got to see him play guitar and song live! He even signed my CD and I got a Spoken t shirt! This band is just AMAZING!
I love this song, hate bad religion, love God wth all heart, desire more and more of him, can't live without him! Trials come daily, it's songs like this that help me make it through, like a reminder in my ear. Thank you to the faithful rockers!
I got exposed to this band on a tv rock channel; im not sure what the channel was called. my pops got a dish provider that had nothing but christian channels and this rock channel was on of there; glad he did or I would have never heard this guys! Still playing this in 2017!!
dude i saw them live saturday! they were so awesome! they hung out with me and a few friends while the other band played , they were so awesome waaaay better live i was right in front of the singer bangn my head , they were great
I seen these guys and met them; they're cool. I saw them at Faith Baptist Church in Peshtigo, WI in 2004. It was an awesome concert. I believe John Reubin was touring with them at the time. :D
saw the lead singer of these guys tonight and heard him play some acoustic stuff and it was awesome, also him and his band are comin back Oct. 20th so can't wait to see what they do then :)
just saw these guys at creationfest nw, got their autographs and my picture taken with the lead guitarist, these guys rock. nicest guys you will ever meet live.
His name's Ryan Jordan :) haha and now he's my supervisor, he's not the current drummer they have NOW but he used to drum for them (he's drumming for them in this video)
Lemme say, I think spoken needs to get the hell outta christian rock and go mainstream, get themselves a high class record deal and endorsments. They could be a huge band!
Great song..just discovered it..Man i hope things get better..theres alot of people out there struggling...i should know! The next president should make this his Song! lol
