Eight people are confirmed dead at a Kentucky candle factory that was hit by a tornado and another eight remain missing, but dozens more have been accounted for, a company spokesman said Sunday, raising hope that the toll from a Midwest twister outbreak won’t be as high as first feared.

I mostly like News Nation Now, but this anchor has absolutely no emotion. It disgusts me. She's sitting there talking about hard-working, middle class Americans dying, being injured, and possibly still being trapped in a building, and she has a smile on her face and those fake eyebrow things. It makes my stomach turn.

We pray 🙏 there is more rescues and survivors. Prayers to their families as they wait for news of their loved ones. Does anyone have any idea why these workers were working a late shift when the midnight tornados were sighted heading their way. Some alarm systems were reported out in other towns but 200 workers have phones with alert systems. Were these factory owners being safety responsible to protect their workers. The courageousness of so many of the workers who found their way out is truly amazing.

@@melodiefrances3898 my friend works as a warehouse supervisor and when tornadic storms approach, they're required to keep employees safe by alerting them of dangerous weather because employees are not allowed to have their phones on them while working. So employees have no clue about weather unless they have a window or they're on break. Anyway, they're told to go to a safe room and/or safe area of the building until it's deemed safe. I'm sure every warehouse has this implemented in their safety plan. I haven't heard anyone say they were all together yet, hopefully more is released.

May this be a warning to all employers. The Midwest and South had a WEEK’s notice of the storms. We ask corporations that use employee labor to consider the lives of those who work for you. It would have been much safer for them to have had a paid or unpaid day off. Christmas isn’t about making money. It’s about saving lives. I am asking for mandatory paid or unpaid days off in the event of upcoming storm of this magnitude.

Wonder if HAARRP had anything to do with this one?🤫 . You know like a hurricane just sitting on the Bahamas. And hanging out. People are trying to play God now. The weather wouldn’t be like this if they wouldn’t.
