Coming in here to say my top podcast at this year‘s Spotify wrapped was spongemind, the episodes with Jeremy about language learning as a topic makes it so much more interesting to listen. Thank you for the learning 선생님!

Thanks for the love! And you probably already noticed it but I started to release new episodes after a long break, and they were all with my wife! She is a lovely co-host and I am certain you are going to enjoy them as much as those I made with Jeremy. 열심히 공부하세요!

Just finished listening to your SpongeMind Podcast in Korean for the second time to help with my Korean learning. Since I can't comment your podcasts on Spotify I came here to say thank you for the great content and that it has been very helpful in helping me go from a very low listening comprehension to being able to understand almost everything you talk about in your podcasts. Thank you!

Wow, then you must have made a TON of progress! Those main podcast episodes are not beginner's material at all. You definitely deserve a lot of credit for the consistency and dedication.

Just taking a long break as I got busy with other things, especially the planning of Korean language and cultural immersion program (basically living together with a few native speakers... cooking, eating, and playing together)

짧은 시간에 김치에 대해서 많은 정보를 제공하는 영상이네요. 김치 냄새나는 향수가 있다는게 신기하네요.

Hi Johnson , if your still making videos like this, I would suggest having black background with white text, it’s easier on the eyes. Thank you.

How much should you understand of a video before starting to repetitively listen to it? 50% 80% etc?
@SpongeMindTV
@SpongeMindTV Год назад
There's so many different ways of doing repetitive listening preferred by different people. but the way I do it with my German is this: first I listen to the material repetitively without ever trying to understand. and then I study the transcript or the subtitles in the target language. and then I go back to repetitive listening. my goal is usually 60-80% comprehension after finishing all three steps

예전 서양 남자분도 같이 하셨던거 같은데, 그 분 영상은 다 비공개 전환하셨나요? 여기가 그 채널 맞는지, 제가 다른 채널 착각한건지 궁금해서 여쭤봅니다.
@SpongeMindTV
@SpongeMindTV 2 года назад
네 그 채널 맞습니다. 제레미라는 친구인데요, 인터넷에 있는 본인의 모든 컨텐트를 다 없애기를 원해서 제 채널에서 다 내렸습니다. 자기 채널도 다른 사람한테 넘기고 본인 나오는 동영상은 다 지웠더군요 ^^;;

All your videos are on how too learn Korean, but not the other way around how too learn English, easy way!
@SpongeMindTV
@SpongeMindTV Год назад
The "study materials" I produce in this channel are almost always for Korean learners, but my channel also has a series called Language Learning Tip which is for anyone who's learning any language. Here's an example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rpMceiQkIYc.html
