I gotta say my Korean sucks and I dont even see myself as a beginner, but I was happy to understand at least some parts of the sentences and eventually to understand from the context what they meant. So far, this was the best podcast i have heard so far, keep going!!

나는 한국에서 학교와 성적의 압박이 젊은이들에게 자살을 초래할 수 있다는 것을 이해합니다. 이것은 매우 슬픈 일입니다. 그리고 노인들은 자녀들의 보살핌을 받지 못하고 있습니다. 많은 노인들이 외로움과 잊혀진 느낌을 느낍니다. 이는 해결하기 쉬운 문제가 아닙니다. 하지만 누구나 자신이 아는 사람들을 도울 수 있는 방법을 찾을 수 있습니다. 우리 모두는 상호 작용에 있어 더욱 민감하고 능숙해야 합니다.
This is truly an inspiring video! I've been learning Korean for almost 6 months now, but I feel stuck. My Korean teacher isn't that supportive and there were times he mocked me each time I made a mistake or struggled for an answer. I enjoyed learning Korean before, but now I am slowly losing my confidence. I hope I'll be better someday.
Thanks for the love! I know how it feels to have such a teacher (from personal experiences). I strongly recommend you ditch him and find someone else. As a language teacher myself, I know such a teacher does much more harm than good no matter how much he teaches you or how good his explanations are. It's not about his knowledge or skills; it's about the chemistry between him and the learner.
Just taking a long break as I got busy with other things, especially the planning of Korean language and cultural immersion program (basically living together with a few native speakers... cooking, eating, and playing together)
