SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated - All Robot Intro's Comparison (Original vs Remake) 

they made the game a lot less creepy. it seems they completely got rid of the melancholy atmosphere of some of the areas, like industrial park. that makes me kinda sad

I think the original slick having an Oil bubble was better

It certainly has gotten brighter.

You could see the hand of the Monsoon disconnect in the original game, but not in rehydrated. Also, the G-Love's hands seem to have gotten a bit shorter in rehydrated

the orignal monsoons eyes looked better

I prefer the Rehydrated, the original robot's eyes looked like green nickels

-Fodder is fine, I personally liked how the old version laughed, it gave it some more cartoony characteristics. -Ham-mer I like in the new version with how the hammer arm bends, looks more natural, though the pun for it isn't as good in the new one. -Tar-Tar... I got nothing to say, does look more stiff in the new one but it's a robot, they kind of stiff anyways. -G-Love I think is pretty much the same for me, I do like the new design, though I don't like how it has less hands -Chuck's old design I love more but the victory animation is so cute in the new one. -Monsoon's new design I like better than the old one. -Sleepy-Time is more scarier and better than the old one. Regardless that they're both still scary. -Arf is way better in the old version -Arf Dwag is better in the new version, they seem more cuter -Tublet is way better in the new version and their fiery explosion has more of a glow effect which I like. -Slick is pretty amazing in the new version as it gives it a more bulky design.

While rehydrated does look amazing.. i think they could have done better with recreating the robot bosses, they just dont feel the same.

The only one I'm disappointed with is Tar-Tar. Why'd they replace his bouncy idle animation with such a stiff posture?

So all the differences I can find based on memory Fodder - Swings More Often and Can Move while swinging Ham-mer - No Differences as far as I'm aware Duplicate Machine [Forgot its name, ouch] - Similar to another enemy found first on the beach, it appears to spam spawn robots, but only when you kill them all at once, odd rules. Tar-Tar - Seems to shoot more often, especially when you are about to hit it. Chomper - Has some start time with his attack now G-love - Spins Ever So Slighty Slower Chuck - Slower Missle Attack, and you can deflect it with a well placed attack Monsoon - Seems to spam his thunder attack, last time he only shot out one cloud, now he shoots as many as he can. Sleepytime - Actually makes snoring sounds in game and zaps you less frequently, and seems to have better hearing considering attacking enemies in his light space, and being attacked, this is very apparent in the first step to the end of the Trench Of Advanced Darkness, where a Sleepytime, alongside two Fodders caused me alot of trouble Bomb Bots - COMPLETELY USELESS, I already thought they were just a better Arf Dawg but now with a bigger range and quicker speed, they better right? haha... WRONG. these guys, if they don't go driving off cliffs always zoom past you. Arf and the Dawgs - Arf remains mostly unchanged but the Dawgs actually approach you, which makes them a actual threat now. Tubelets - Mostly unchanged Bzzt-Bot - Different Rules On His Gamma attack now, instead of starting out green and becoming a deadly yellow, it appears to stretch out towards you Slick - Hitting a robot into his sheild somehow causes damage to you. Aside that and some start time with his attack and him getting tko-ed by a bubble bowl, he is mostly the same.

They defiantly gave them a lot more personality

Is it me or is the remake...well, easier regarding the enemies? It's like they thought we dumbed down during these 15 years.

The original tar robot feels more fluid and moves better IMO.

I'm just gonna say it. The Original animations look better. Rehydrateds seem off and a bit janky. But its still a good remake? remaster? I don't know.... If only nickelodeon didn't rush the god damn game development we could of probably had the cut content Implemented better! Yes I'm still mad about that!
