Honestly this episode had me wish Nickelodeon would do another sci-fi show. The only ones we've had are My Life as a Teenage Robot, Invader Zim, and to a lesser extent Jimmy Neutron.
Well Nick technically has Star Trek Prodigy which is Star Trek aimed at a younger audience and a lot of people like it. Unfortunately, it's on Nick outside the US, and inside the US, you need to get Paramount+. Why can't Prodigy be on both Nick and Paramount+ in the US? Mr Krabs: Money
@@allendepacheco3419 True, I forgot about that, probably because it's not an original IP unlike the others, plus it doesn't actually air on the channel.
They both suffered in their later seasons and never reached the heights of their golden years again in my opinion only difference is that Fairly Odd Parents ended unceremoniously and Spongebob is still going.
@@markofthewolvessucks8930 i know, it was a joke, both shows are getting better, not better than in their classic seasons but better from the last years
I agree with you! I love how the characters interact with each other and the robot environment. It’s funny how Mr Krabs is so cheap that he’s a rusty old robot. And it was neat seeing fish Karen. This was the only episode in The Tidal Zone that I really care for. Maybe in the future they’ll make more episode featuring Binary Bottom, if not, then this episode will just be simply special.
Whoever came up with this gem struck gold! I hope they do more like this every now and then (though not another spinoff as it would definitely get old too quick)
agreed, thats kinda the reason why I still watch when I can (aside from loud house being shit) the creativity is gold and the humor at least for me is a logical step foward
@@demonswordofficalchannel777 loud house formula *does something super fucked up and is shunned for it by everyone* "I have made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment and I do not expect to be forgiven" *everything is resolved*
3:51 I love this single clip and now I wanna see the episode when I get the ability to. Paramount+ needs to update SpongeBob. They even stopped showing the EVERY SPONGEBOB RELATED THING EVER because they haven’t added the new seasons
Definitely the best part of The Tidal Zone, if you ask me. Just seeing all of these alternate roboticized versions of the SpongeBob cast is a treat in of itself!
I never seen the full episode but watched the clips of it and they're so creative and original. And as for the Loud Brothers episode, it was nothing than wasted potential...
@@Pablo.673 It does have elements though, such as the futuristic stuff. Kind of like what Prometheus is to Alien, it doesn’t seem like a prequel to Alien but there is still elements in it that shows it is.
It was a solid crossover! The ideas of the episodes were very interesting! Even the spin-offs had some amazing stuff to make it more interesting! Sure, they drag on a bit, but the plots in the episodes are pretty good! Plus, the main series is the highlight, with some amazing episodes in it! I hope that they do more in the future!
While a robotic episode certainly does rely on visuals, I argue the fact that the story can be the main focus in a robotic episode and it doesn't just need to rely on visuals.
The humor in this episode was nigh absent, it just felt soulless. BUT, BIG BUT. Its worth every second to see larry spike that vollyball and blow that poor man to atoms, the stock gif absolutely killed me.
Believe it or not, there was a restaurant around 10 minutes from where I live called “Quaker Steak & Lube”. And yes, it was just a normal restaurant. It’s also one big restaurant chain.
..so this is what happens if the robots from battle for bikini bottom won and took over. also the idea of krabs being a crappy and cheap robot is so good and the bit with everyone ending up as a giant horrific amalgam in the end gives me fazbear frights vibes
Yeah I would say pre-2004 movie would’ve been better. Though we did get the classic SB-129 which was from Season 1 which is kind of(?) similar to this.
People saying the show is running out of ideas when this is easily the most creative season of the show imo (I'm talking about the episode ideas, not the humor, seasons 1-3 are still the most creative because of the humor. Season 13 has good humor though).
This episode was Creative and fun Don't care what anybody says It was awesome and one of a kind I absolutely both adore and love the reference to the radical soda "IT'S RADICAL RADICAL DRINK IT"!!!! It pretty neat that they did that props to the One of a kind Talented Spongebob Crew for Coming up with awesome one of a kind Ideas
Since Paramount is Making the New Transformers Rise of the Beasts Movie and they own spongebob, they Definitely would want to promote The New Transformers Movie, and one way to do that for the kids is to make a Spongebob episode about Transformers, A possible Transformer That could visit would be Nautica (a Submarine Transformer with time travel abilities) but This idea is highly unlikely since the Tidel zone would be Spongebobs only Crossover.
I’m definitely looking forward to Rise of the Beasts. Yeah I know the Transformer films after the first got a bit meh but I still found things in them that I enjoyed. Knowing that Rise of the Beasts is going to have animalistic transformers in them definitely makes me interested.
I really find it weird that Patrick isn't an actual star here, but instead is a motherboard within a triangular structure (which is souley 2d, not all around). And Sandy's just an overdose decapitated head now, she doesn't even have a body anymore. Still, not a bad episode, after all IT'S BY FAR THE BEST EPISODE OF THE CROSSOVER!
I'd love for them to revisit this "AU" some time to try out a stronger plot and explore the setting more since it's been established now. Maybe even revisit old plotlines a little to humorously show how different but similar the universe is while giving a nod to classic episodes and older fans. It's a fun, unique little world that would be cool to pop in on once every few seasons. Just a couple times so they don't wear out the novelty, though. Idk, I'm a sucker for robot AUs.
The Tidal Zone special was, okay to say the least. While it's a cool concept combining the universes into one special and a little bit of interaction between them, I feel like they could've done better. The way I'd picture a crossover special like this, I'd picture it being almost similar to "In Space with Markiplier". (If you haven't seen it, definitely go check it out, it's free on RU-vid) Imagine if there was a big galactic wormhole type thing, causing their multiverse to interact with one another, but things go wrong as the multiverse starts to collapse, and there was a universal apocalypse. Who will save them?
This isn't even a crossover episode as far as I'm concerned. Patrick's grandpa makes a cameo for literally a few seconds and adds nothing to the story. Honestly I just had fun seeing the different concepts for Binary Bottom. Seeing Karen as a fish was cool, and I liked Mr Krabs too. The show makes a lot of jokes about the fact that he's old, so seeing him be an old rusty steam robot on rails while everyone else is more modern robots is honestly perfect.
0:00 haha funni squidward’s suicide joke. this would’ve worked if it actually looked like red mist as a robot and had a button that had the symbol of a shotgun
