Handsome Squidward falling to Opera Music, is the best part of that entire episode. I never "not" laugh when I see it. It's just so completely random, yet fitting all at the same time. 🤣🤣🤣

@sabreejohnson1551 the very same old best friend who didn't know anything about SpongeBob, even his gender, was eating for free while his friend pays, being a douchebag saying that Gary thinks he's the better owner, having the friend as a lackey and straight up disrespecting SpongeBob's life and job acting dumb. "You don't know the sponge" was the perfect episode to show SpongeBob reconsider their friendship and try to move on, but obviously it's just a comedy without continuity so there was no lesson.

I’m going to try to put two comments in one. 1. I like how SpongeBob gets amnesia and gets a new life after everyone got angry at him in that episode. Also, Ray Liotta got to play the leader of the Bubble Popping Boys, R.I.P. 2. Lesson learned, kids. If you wanna be handsome, have SpongeBob slam your face in the door.

Everyone keeps on saying spongehenge was a bad episode but i have to disagree, it’s more of a last episode of spongebob as bikini bottom gets destroyed and everyone died, it was kind of a sad and terrifying episode if you think about it, but thats what i like about it, of course it’s not a great episode but it’s definitely not the worst or even close to

@@Zoffee662honestly for me, it had to deal with the fact that there were no survivors left in Bikini bottom after spongebob spent so many years in the cave. It’s implied in the episode that bikini bottom went through some sort of societal collapse cause of the wind storm. Imagine being all alone in a deserted and destroyed city after waking up from a coma. Now that’s scary.

spongehenge probably the darkest ending in a spongebob episode, also isn't it weird how in the beginning of the episode they argue who is the king of the sea Poseidon (greek) or Neptune (roman). Telling ya, after you get your spongebob fill or maybe even between them starting from season 6.....watch some Alex Bale, VERY WORTH

Oh handsome Squidward. What a classic. I can’t say the same for Whatever Happened to SpongeBob, though. This is the real start of the decline. Everyone here was awful to him. Squidward we’re used to, but the others are just venting their frustration in such a way that seems out of character. And “idiot boy” was both uncalled for and dumb. The second part of it is pretty alright though. SpongeHenge, is…definitely an episode. I can’t tell what to think of it.

a common theory is that squidward is a genuinely good player, but his depression heavily affects his playing, which means his self loathing and exhaustion with life seeps into his music. the worse he feels, the worse he plays.

6:06 - Y'know... I just know there must've been some dark, twisted, tragedy-loving writer out there who saw this episode and wrote an even darker alternative to it, where the note Spongebob leaves after running away was a *suicide* note, and by the time his friends found him he's already killed himself... Not saying I've ever actually read a fic like that, but it's gotta be out there somewhere. I just know it. (Heh, sorry for being so morbid out of the blue.. 😅) (It would be an interesting read though, I'm just saying. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Seeing the whole aftermath play out and everyone's thoughts, feelings and.. possible regrets...)
