SpongeBob upon winning the first fight somehow doesn't turn around when the robot falls on him. Thus, how the hell is his back stuck on the robot's forehead? And somehow, the robot in the cutscenes still doesn't have the power lights on him like in gameplay. So many other details that even the OG version had are missing in this remake tbh.
Alan Ornelas But you want to know what’s confusing? I thought he was gonna lower his bottom jaw to do this karate yell attack because I can see both of the side slots between each end of the bottom jaw, and there was a little bit of an open area on the top of his white clothing. But I didn’t know he was gonna do that. The first time I saw his karate yell attack like that in the remake, that really surprised me.
Yeah there's a lot happening here: A-posing, glitched Kah-Rah-Tae. But that was expected since its early release. Hopefully it'll get a giant update later.
I know its been 2 months but Kah Rah Tae! Wasn't bugged its does damage if you land on the panel pretty early its too order to punish speed runners from that old skip of this fight
This battle is definitely not finished, the karate move only plays his voice clip once lol and BRUH HE GOES INTO AN "A" pose EVERYTIME, they better fix that lol other than that, IT LOOKS AMAZING.
robo spongbeob looks at the camera so menacingly at 5:40, plus i like how they make his eyes go small has he does the 'kah-rah-tae' move, it really does make him look so much more creepy
The fight seems really broken, Spongebot seems to go in his T-pose everytime the player falls, The Kah-RaH-Tae audio seems glitchy, sometimes not even playing, and the announcer seems to be missing entirely. I really hope they iron this game out with the supposed Day 1 patch, this game is apparently going to have.
@@BrodgttiProductions I'm allowed to criticize what I have seen so far, regardless of if it released yet or not. People like you telling others how to feel and act are damaging to the gaming industry.
The remake's versions of robot spongebob and robot sandy look so creepy and menacing. The same can't be said for robot patrick sadly. The original robot patrick's design is better....
@@NitwitsWorld the original design had darkish pink tone, had sharp plated teeth, black shorts , eye lids that had that ' looks stitched together look ' , and devilish eye brows
I honestly cannot tell if this robot is A posing as an Idle animation or not. There are many things off about this fight just in general. The one thing I do like is the side chop attack is still fast; However the vertical chop seems like its slower. The audio also lacks that menacing echo that Steelpants use to have for the Kah Rah Tae.
The platforms seem to have more active frames now tho, so you can’t return back to them that easily, maybe they slowed down the vertical chop because you’re now actually forced to run away one direction, although a thing I don’t really like is that there’s soooo little penalty for falling off, like Robo Plankton takes forever to just attack you while Robo Spongebob just waits for you to get back to the platforms, and there’s sooo many healing items that warrant a full restore, this is supposed to be the final battle right? Also while the sideways chop is faster, he sure really wants you to hit him at least once with how long he stays vulnerable.
3:55 This voice-clip was unused in the original. Normally when he says this, it sounds like he’s speaking through a radio. Side note, I’m kinda disappointed they didn’t try to reimplement the cut Musclebob phase of the fight.
Not just that, it's a different take of the line entirely, still hidden in the game's files of the original. Kinda sad they didn't think about putting the filter on it...
I think in a way, this looks far more fun and alive. The orignal is great but this just. Gives me those creepy vibes the orignal did when I was a kid. I love the expressions on the Robot spongebob
I just noticed that robot spongebob hits the floating platforms four times in a row when his health gets to red. In the original, he starts hitting four in a row when he his at two red bar. A Little change, but I hope the patch will help improve this game a bit more. Cant wait
@@kung-fucutman5463 so thats why all the range attacks from the tar tar and the flying one with the missle now has red dots where they were going to land, not a bad choice to add in, but i never had a problem as a kid dodging them, you could tell where they were going to land by looking at the projectiles, and the flying ones missile was obvious because you know it goes to wherever you were standing
I wish we had gotten the complete uncut fight the original didn’t have with the anchor arms, but I guess makes sense we didn’t get it. I haven’t really seen any new voice clips and we’d need that for a transition cutscene
When I was younger I watched bfbb videos the robots scared me and gave me nightmares plus since spongebot steelpants is creepy in this remake it got me to shiver
Squidward in the original game: (Frustrated) "I always knew Spongebob would be the death of me." Squidward in Rehydrated: (Freaking out) "I ALWAYS KNEW SPONGEBOB WOULD BE THE DEATH OF ME!!!!!"
I love that Bossfight... also in the Original... but in the Original you could fight infinity times against the Endboss and other Bosses... in the Remake you only see the Arena but not the Endboss.... hope this will be fixed with an Update :(
You can tell they built the robo spongebob model without wanting it to flex or bend easily. During the Kah Rah Tae attack, you can see his texture stretching horrifically on his side. And during the final cutscene his animations look very stilted and awkward. I really hope they change this for the Day 1 patch
People are saying Day 1 patch will fix everything. It shouldn't exist because this game should of already been polished and finished on release. It's really sad that they had all this time and did the minimum to this game.
One detail I notice is that after you hit him, and especially when he wakes up after you hit plankton bot, he goes straight to attacking! There’s no delay! Which I really like
8:42 Why do the robots have SpongeBot's laugh? Or was that SpongeBot himself laughing? If the latter, then that's a good addition of attention to detail.
I am the only one noticing how emotionless Robo-Spongebob is, compared to the original? I mean, in the original, his eyes would look at Spongebob before entering in the defeat cutscene and the yes would move when inside. Here, he just stares. Plus at the final cutscene, the eyes did go derp to indicate something's wrong and he would look at his deflating arms in disbelief, with one arm folding over.
I could never finish this fight on the old version. The trampolines are what got me. They worked maybe 75% of the time, but inevitably, one would launch me in some random direction and I would fall off the map and have to restart the whole robot spongebob section. I tried for a several hours on separate occasions but just couldn't do it.
My personal nitpick from this is when you beat robot spongebob, normal spongebob doesn’t somewhat mimic him when he’s hitting the panels and then falls 5:33
They somehow made the new Spongebot Steelpants more terrifying than the old one. Too bad they didn't add the unused second phase where Spongebot fights you with his Anchor arms.
Right I didn’t know that too but I just took the chance to do it because he doesn’t appear and shoot immediately. He just appears then waits then starts to shoot
They tried to but they said it wouldn’t make any sense without changing the ending and they realized then why it was cut in the first place. They said will be on multiplayer
It was possible tho, although it would’ve required a few more lines of dialogue. As soon as spongebob entered the robots head, sandy could’ve just told Patrick they needed to distract it from the outside and boom, you fight the anchor arms on the outside and after you beat him, then you play the gauntlet inside the head like in the original. Again the only problem would’ve been that they needed a few more lines of dialogue and I don’t think any new lines were added into the game besides some unused ones from the original
In the original, when Spongebot's arms fall of during the cutscene, Spongebob dances in victory (but your too focused on Spongebot to notice Spongebob). In the remake, the only reaction Spongebob makes during that part is just looking like "ohno-" when Spongebot falls on him. They removed SpongeBob's victory dance. Aw.
I’ve been playing this game for 8 years and I just now realized you can hit robo plankton with just the bubble wand. All this time I’ve been using the cruise bubble T_T
I'd like to point out that phase 2 of this fight has checkpoints this time. In the original, you had to break all the fuses in one go. If you died, you'd restart from the begining.
when this releases, I'm finally going to beat this boss, it's been 9 years, and i never beat this thing. btw, this game and everything else looks absolutely amazing, good to see my childhood game got a makeover.
god this looks much more horrifying due to the eyes; but the spongebot's interior looks really beautiful but there may have been some bugs that i am still kinda annoyed with
Unused MuscleBob not used is okay... Glitched Attacks and Camera Not Focus on the boss okay they can fixed it BUT NO FISH ANNOUNCER AND CHECKPOINT ON SMALL SHALL RULE OR NOT IS A TOTAL CRIME !!!!!!! THEY RUINED THE EPIC AWESOMENESS FROM THE ORIGINAL FINAL BOSS BATTLE WTF!!!!
The muscleBob part is referenced in multiplayer mode they didn’t want to change the original story by putting the cut stuff in Patrick’s dream is in multiplayer mode as well
@@hoppie426thegamer9 they don't reference that either. Just putting musclearms are not enough as it's just putting things that already used in final game so it wasn't count. If only they change the Karate Gear SpongeBot into Speedo SpongeBot then i count that as a reference
