Yeah the North American SNES discontinued only a few months after Spongebob's first airing. This video displays graphical feats not achievable using the hardware. The music/graphics come from the PS1 game.

Probably just text, that port was so damn lazy I'd doubt if they even made a render for that. And it wouldn't be the same as the PS1 version either. Very few levels reused assets from the PS1 version and the art-style was even more of a mess, meaning both teams didn't have much contact.
@@usmann85 Imo I don't like it at all. Linear level design, inexistent challenge, muddy graphics, no use of the weapon gimmick... For me it just feels like a chore to play, but I can see why you'd enjoy it, after all, I'm also one of the people who who unironically enjoys playing Bubsy 1 of all things, so...
