I still remember the day in 2003, my best friend played this game all the time and we took turns at his house. We were always at the Jelly Fields and at Sandy's Tree Dome because we didn't have a memory card to save the game at the time. We eventually moved because my father was in the military and years later, I received a bundle of gifts from my parents and one of them was this game. Nostalgia hit me hard. I haven't contacted my friend for over a decade since it was really difficult to find him through social media. I finally found him earlier this year, and when I saw him, there were pictures of us playing games together, and one of the games we always played was SpongeBob SuperSponge. I had to come here and listen to this theme again because it was this theme that I really remember that played in my childhood. The nostalgia hit me really hard so many times, I swear.
Classic Gamer Classic Gamer I understand, and hey there’s good news. A few months ago, I finally found him and contacted him. His parents were surprised I still remembered him and he barely remembers those times lol The childhood pictures we exchanged don’t lie, and it was really him. It was a very heartwarming moment since none of us were able to find each other on social media or whatever and I was determined to find my best friend until the day I found him. This theme is very fitting now. Thank you and everyone else here reading about my journey. It has finally ended joyfully :’)
I only played the GBA game, because that's the one I'm more nostalgic for - I saw some kids play it on their GBAs while I was really young, back in 2008 or so. I know both versions are really different, but the GBA one is a surprisingly fun time! Short and sweet really.
This soundtrack from the first level is everything!!!!!😍😭🎶👏🏼🙌🏼 Out of all the sound tracks, this one is the one that gets me going with nostalgia!!!!😓😩💔 #missmychildhood #missthisgamewaytoomuch!!
I'm actually 21 years old now. And back when I wrote this I was 19 or 20. So no I'm not a kid. But this is a game I played as a child and it was rh greatest👌😴 G3MENI
I got the PAL version of this game in a PS1 "pick-a-game" listing on eBay. Absolutely worth it. It was £19.97 with the manual, the disc (which has no scratches on it) and the original case. That's really good considering how a brand new copy ranges between £130 and £170.
+Duskool I wouldn't take yours down If I were you. I like yours the best because yours last a tad bit longer than anyone else's! I'd much rather take a slightly rippled version which has pops I can easily tune out rather than one I have to refresh every two minutes.
