Ive heard the GTX tends to bow hunt in chop. Did the sponsons and grate fix that?

Yes, adding both helps the ski not bow hunt. It literally changes the ride feel. You’ll literally feel like you’re on a different ski after upgrading them.

Is there a difference in speed? Does the intake grate makes it slower?

I have not personally tested it yet. Soon I will. Here is what RIVA says. Dramatic increase in hook up due to new top-loader wing design & inlet ramp. Improved top speed in rough water conditions. No top speed loss on smooth water. Race bred design provides excellent handling. Significantly reduces cavitation.

Drop the sponsons all the way down to the lowest setting and they are even better grip.

Hey Deric, after a ride on the water how much water do you have inside your hull? Everyone i ask seems to have different amount no matter if its fllat water or rough.

I have not noticed any water in the hull since I have had the ski for one year. Well unless the ski gets capsized. Then just a bit of water. Easy to drain.
