Research has shown that people are more likely to click off a video with bad audio quality rather than a video with bad visuals or editing. Do with this info as you want, but my suggestion would be to get a decent lapel mic for 20 bucks or something.

AdoredTV (Jim) is the guest and they have a nearly three hour long discussion covering a whole slew of topics. Man, the A770/A750 cards are probably the only new GPUs I would actually buy at this point since they're actually affordable

One important issue to consider is that the A770 and A750 absolutely REQUIRE a PCIe 4.0 motherboard AND cpu. Without PCIe 4.0 support, performance will be so badly affected that it's simply not worth even trying. From what I recall, you lose MORE than 75% of your performance if you try to run on PCIe 3.0. To my knowledge, these GPUs are also more reliant on having a good CPU, though if you're using a PCIe 4.0 motherboard, chances are that your CPU is pretty new as well. If your motherboard (and CPU) supports PCIe 4.0, and if you can accept that some games will not run nearly as well as others, and that some may not work properly, and that you are likely to have to do more trouble shooting, then I think these Intel cards can be a good option. Drivers are likely to improve more and more over time, so these issues with the drivers will probably get a lot better, and may eventually disappear. The Radeon RX 6600 has been available for as low as 190 USD within the last few weeks, the 6600 XT has been available for as low as around 240-250 USD, and the RX 6700 XT has been available for as low as 330 USD. At those prices, those cards are extremely compelling and competitive, and would be better for anybody who doesn't want to deal with the hassle of some games not working properly or performing poorly, and will definitely be better for anybody on a system which doesn't support PCIe 4.0. Now, those excellent sale prices seem to have mostly dried up recently, but I expect them to come back at some point as long as there's still stock available.

OK, you need to have comparison cards, be it similar price, and/or approximate performance.

Now I understand this is a build and not a review but I really wouldn’t mind seeing a review of that GPU tbh.

Picking a PG Riptide board which is always have some blue on them is a brilliant touch

30 FPS video? ffs some scenes have too much compression like 00:46 a lot of scenes are weakly lit and/or have low contrast

I don't understand why a 13900k was paired with an A770. It's not practical and makes no sense. This build serves no one.

Sweet build

I mean go ahead and get your payday, but this makes no sense. An absolute top of the line CPU, the 13900k, paired with a GPU that has under-mid-range performance compared to last-generation AMD and Nvidia GPUs... At current prices, the ASRock Phantom Gaming a770 is $329 + tax in the US, which is right around the price of a new RX 6700 XT or used 3070. Any savings that you might get by choosing the a770 can't outweigh the instability of Intel's fledgling drivers unless you belong in one of the few workload niches that excel on an Arc GPU. But on a more serious note, this build should have used the ASRock Sonic The Hedgehog™ Motherboard.

Let's hope Intel deliver in the dGPU scene - we BADLY need more players in this market. We also BADLY need proper(!!) competition in the GPU and CPU markets. Today, we don't have any of these, unfortunately (dGPU's that should be $100's less).

Interesting to see the channel branching out into other types of content - great! One thing I'm really noticing though is the quality of the microphone being used. It contrasts really harshly to e.g. the music - I'd definitely consider investing in a better microphone for future videos. 🙂

It's wild that intel finally have proper video cards on the market now I wonder how long it'll be before we get nvidia CPUs :P

I did a similar build with 12700k / z690-D4 open box parts from micro center. The Intel version of the card looks and feels the part of a premium middle tier card. It falls short of the 6600xt I've got in another machine, and it completely falls apart in multi monitor use. I've moved it to my HTPC, driving an LG CX. It seems to do better there. It's a bit of a mess with stability though, and if I didn't collect computers, I wouldn't have bought one.

A little pointless having benchmarks without comparisons. Is this card better or worse than Intel's reference SE version (16GB but not OC) that has been tested elsewhere? Are the lows specific to this card, or general problems with these games with all GPUs?

With the price of pc parts in EU these days, ive boicotted my 25 year old hobby. Ill be back to pc building when prices becomes more reasonable. Until then, i got more money to spend on my other hobbies 😂🥳

I find this a very nice build video. Overview and coments on the hardware, nicely choosen music and build montage, and a couple of benchmarks to put it all in perspective. This could be a new series in the channel that I would like a lot. By the way, there is a slight error on the CPU temperatures chart... max and avg are swapped.
