Missed you live, sadly, but enjoying the replay. Thank you! And I'm fairly sure I need Stepic at this point! The price is very attractive, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I have a Hydrasynth 49, MPC Live 2, Minilogue XD, Behringer Model D, Beatstep Pro, Zoom R24, Novation Launchkey 49 MKii, and Ableton Live 11 Suite, and all kinds of VST's. I'm new to mixing hardware with software, and I'm trying to sync everything up. I've done some research, and it seems that a midi sync/clock is how people do it. I just want to know if this is necessary. I know my MPC can work with Ableton, but I never used it with Ableton, besides tracking. I just want to be able to integrate everything. I plan on getting more hardware in the future, and it's kind of a pain tracking everything separately. I want to be able to hear everything playing together before I commit to recording it. I would also like to use the midi option in Ableton to play my hardware. I'm planning on getting a Model 12 or 16 soon, and it seems that they have a way to integrate everything. I know I'm missing something basic and simple, but I don't know anyone personally that can come over and help. I did buy a powered usb hub, that I can hook my hardware up together via usb on my MPC. I feel like I could get my MPC to sync everything up, ut I'm not exactly sure if it's powerful enough to sync everything properly. My background has been strictly software besides controllers. I got tired of software companies ripping me off, so I'm trying to get into hardware, but it's way easier to use software. It does all of the hooking up and syncing synth automatic.

I connect everything directly to my interfaces (RME 802 and Motu Midi Express 128) and don´t have any trouble. Look for a studio tour video on my channel, I explained the setup in detail there.
