This was the first and only time you see his pops smile..

Spooky makes a good point that his dad hasn't been there but at least he is trying

To everyone defending Ray and getting upset at Spooky for the way he acted towards Ray, you’ve (most likely) never been in the position of watching a parent walk away from you and your siblings. you have so much pain, anger, and sadness built up for years and at most times wonder if you were the cause of them leaving or if you just never lived up to their standards and disappointed them and it continues to build up throughout the years. While in Ray’s defense, yes he was set up by the Cuchillos, but Spooky did not know this and Ray could’ve tried other ways to deal with the situation then to just dip and leave his two sons with a mother who was incapable of taking care of them, ‘cause the way the show explains the past of his and Cesar’s mom, it sounds like this was a issue before Ray had dipped and there is no fucking way Ray did not see that she was incapable of being a mother and supporting them beforehand. PLUS, Spooky did say he wrote to Ray in the pen and he would never respond to his letters, so Spooky had every right to be angry with his “father” no matter if he was “trying” to bond or not, it was too late at that point.
