I'm normally not super fond of babies tbh but lucien is adorable, I love watching all your content, even the mom vlogs. it's cool to understand a side of life I'll never personally experience and gain some respect for moms haha. all of my sisters had kids fairly early on and it seems like so much work. but you're such a genuinely wonderful mom, it warms my heart to hear you talk about your son like you do :) just wondering, have you considered adopting? if I ever change my mind about not wanting kids I will 100% adopt, mainly for personal reasons but also because I'd love to give a home to a child in need of one. I know adopting isn't for everyone, but if you're deadset on having another baby and you're open to the idea, I think you could give an adopted child the most wonderful home and family.

I get that rapid heart rate as well. Thankfully I just have to lean forward, holding my breath and bear down and it gets my heart regulated again. I started getting it when I was in my 30’s. It’s a weird feeling. It doesn’t hurt or anything, just a little startling when it happens. Hopefully Lucian will grow out of it. 🧡

I get heart flutters occasionally. Some are more intense than others. I do not take any medications for it. When it happens I take a deep breath and hold it for a few seconds. It goes back to normal immediately. You are doing an awesome job. I'm glad the two of you were able to find a schedule that works. Don't worry about your cluttered house. We totally understand and forgive you. ❤

Is it normal that I'm sobbing through this video, currently experiencing baby blues myself (my baby boy is 12 weeks)so everything your doing it hits so hard, especially getting rid of newborn stuff! You are actually doing such an incredible job! Well done Mumma! One lucky little man! ❤

Awww, Jade. I have issues myself with SVT/PSVT and I fully understand the stress you’re experiencing. I was 30 years old before I had my first episode with it, but it sounds like you guys have a great plan in place. I know it can be so scary and you always feel on alert, but like you said, it’s rarely fatal and there are things we can do to live a normal life with it. Sending all the good vibes your way. 🖤

Your feelings about motherhood sound so similar to mine! Never was a "baby" girl. But, when I had my own kiddo (now 4 yro!) I discovered how much I love being a mom! It feels like the thing I was meant to be. Totally didn't expect it!

I’m so glad you’re enjoying parenthood! I can relate to not knowing what kind of mom you’d be- because I’m definitely not a kid person myself 😬🤷‍♀️ but I’m a MY kid person if that makes sense lol. I have 2 bio and 2 step that I raised full time and all but one are adults. One more to go and it’s going to break my heart lol. He was my 2 lb micro preemie and he’s turning 17. He has a man beard 😳 and is on the varsity football team. He had a rough start like Lucien and had a heart surgery at 5 days old. I’m praying for y’all. It’s hard when your baby has health challenges and it’s scary. But I’m so glad to hear he’s doing well and you are too!!! You’re doing all the things you’re supposed to and I know it sounds like almost trivial to say “good job” because he’s your son, but you’d be surprised how many parents I’ve gotten to know in and out of hospitals all these years that are just incapable of the extra care. You’re amazing 💪🏻♥️♥️♥️

I can’t believe all that you guys are going thru with Lucian’s heart issues. That sounds so terrifying. He’s growing up SO fast!!! Seeing you with him gives me all the warm fuzzies as I remember what it was like when my son was his age… nearly 24 years ago but I can still remember what he felt like, smelled like…. Hey ghoul hey! I just wanted to share my experience with SVT as a fellow spooky mom. My daughter had her first episode when she was four. I can remember how terrifying of an experience it was. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she just turned 8 on the 13th, and as she gets older the episodes are less and less. She has also learned what to look for and when to let me know it’s happening. You’re a great mom. You all got this.

Me and my 8 month old daughter are both Libra's! She usually doesn't like RU-vid, she's obsessed with the trolls movie but she actually sat and watched your whole vlog with me. She loves seeing other babies and lit up at seeing baby Lucian 🖤 Watching them grow is the best and worst part of parenthood. I had my baby when I turned 29 and she will be one and I'll be 30 in October. You're rocking being a mom. I had an emergency C-section and I didn't leave my rocking chair with her for the first 3 months it seemed like. You're completely right about pumping being a full time job, I gave up on night pumps and accidentally dried up at 5 months. It was very sad and I grieved it and felt horrible and guilty but I had a large freezer stash I was saving to make baby food with and her father accidentally threw away my box of freezer stash and I cried so hard I was so heartbroken. My point in saying all of that is that with every growth stage, you'll grieve the time passing and things changing but it'll be okay. It's great you have video recording of him being so little bc I was so caught up in the stress of it all, I didn't document much and now I can't even remember her being so little. Once again, heartbreaking. Excuse my rambling, I don't usually comment on videos on RU-vid but it's 2am and my girl is awake so I figured 'why not?' lol. Just wanted to say you're doing great, and if you feel that you're getting any baby blues weather it's bc he's growing up so fast or bc of sleep deprivation and stress, don't be worried about any judgement from your followers, we support you and mental health. Don't feel that you need to hide it when/if the time comes. Mine came in waves. It's great Dallas is there for you constantly and helpful, bc my baby's father is blue collar and only gets to see her for about 3 hours a day so it's really hard doing it alone majority of the time. Knowing this condition I'd say that's the best explanation of SVT one could give. I also learned that it was "positional" for me, meaning having my body in certain positions made it more likely to happen. This also explains why it comes and goes throughout life too. It's basically changing as you grow and things move around physiologically. The electrical cells that can catch out of order can become closer together at times during development, and also further apart at other times, leading to long periods with no episodes. Hope you have more of those! Anyway, you sound very well educated on the topic at this point so I'm sure you guys will figure out what's best for Lucian. He's adorable!

I remember these times so well. Those early morning hours are so hard, but he is so precious.

If it makes you even a *little* less scared, I was also born with SVT - currently 24. With age I have much less episodes than I had growing up, just understanding the triggers really helps (over exerting, high stress, etc).

Hi Jade, thanks for the video! A long time ago, I sold children's clothing at a department store for a few months. We always used to tell people who were shopping for gifts not to buy newborn sizes because most babies would be born too big to fit into them. If they weren't sure what to get, we'd tell them a receiving blanket was always appreciated. And thanks for the Neens cameo!

Pumping is def the hardest thing ever. I had to pump because my milk did not want to come in. I was so stressed when my daughter was born. I finally gave up once she was big enough for me not to be terrified and just nursed.

Hey Ghoul hey! What happened when you had Lucian is what happens to many of us that do not have that Momma gene. You caught the Grinch syndrome, once you saw that adorable little love cookie, Your heart grew 3 sizes ! There is no going back, no cure and to be frank, no one ever wants a cure! As an adult with SVTs, it is very scary when they happen but I’ve learned to bear down and it goes away! And I have the same exact episodes as baby Lucian. I live with it and I’ve had it my whole life, It’s scary but also manageable! My life is very normal and I’m sure Lucian will have a happy normal life too ❤️

Make sure to take your utilities bill once it comes in into the water company to let them know the main water main broke, and that you will not be paying for the water bill from the date when it broke till when they fixed it . Years ago I had this some thing happen to me and I got a water bill that was $1200. I’m just preparing you hopefully this doesn’t happen to you but if it does take it immediately into the main utilities office. 🙏💞all the spooky love ❤️ 🎃

From personal experience I preferred having my children close together because they were friends and they played well together when they were little which actually gave me more breaks because they entertained each other. Fast forward and I adopted a baby when my other children were late teens. She is now 3 with no siblings here and requires all of my attention all day. It’s way more work than with my others who were close in age. I had 3 who were all 2 years apart.

I also have SVT & had a surgery to fix it. It is very scary when that happens. I still have issues with my heart skipping beats. With SVT you never know when it will happen. Its an electrical issue. Yeah there are some ways to knock it out of that fast rhythm but i know how scary it is. You are doing a wonderful job by the way! He is so precious!

You’re doing an awesome job at raising the little gremlin guys! My epilepsy was exactly like you had described what could happen with Lucian’s heart condition. I had a stroke and two seizures when I was born. I took medication for a bit after the fact and then was lucky enough to not have another one for years. It wasn’t until I turned 25 a few years ago that I had another seizure. I have no idea what triggered it. It just happened. Here’s to hoping Lucian will just grow out of his heart condition! 🧡🖤🧡
