Absolutely loved this special Halloween episode guys! There's nothing like spooky stories shared around the ol' campfire... and these were definitely some good ones 👍 One of these days we'll have to get together and share some in person. As for the photo... definitely the ghost of an old bushcrafter stalking y'all 👻👻 haha. Hope you have an awesome Halloween Dave and Nick!
Fantastic to hear that Brother John! Man that would be great to share a campfire. I doubt we'll ever know what's in that photo for sure. As always take care and thanks for watching brother
@@Reallybigmonkey1 it kinda reminds me of the time someone I know showed me a photo of what he was convinced was a flying saucer - but when I zoomed in it was clearly a seagull 😂
I love the Halloween spooky tales. Did you guys yell hey what you want to that creepy figure? I would have skidattled out of there. Happy Halloween Dave and Nick.
Nothing better than spooky stories over a campfire. I once had an odd event a few years back hunting with my brother in law and some of his kin. We live in Idaho and hunted an area we had not hunted before. My bro in law and I chose to go via dirt road to a point where our other hunting members would push through heavy timber to regroup with us and hopefully push some deer our way. He and I walked about the area for a while getting to know the layout. At one point I thought I heard voices in the distance but knew our partners were still too far away to be heard. I continued to hear voices but figured it was all in my head from drinking too much Jack the night before around the campfire. My bro in law made a comment that this was an old forest, I agreed. It clearly had been logged over a century ago, or more. He then stated "And I heard voices"! We were the only ones there. No one else around. I got goose bumps. I asked, "You, too?" Fast forward to the next summer. My immediate family are all vacationing at the same campsite down from the area in question. My oldest son, mid 40's, rides his 4 wheeler into the "voice" zone. Comes back to camp and tells me he heard some voices and had to turn off his 4 wheeler because he thought someone was trying to get his attention. He tried to explain where he went when it happened and I told him "Tell me no more, I'll drive you to where it happened". We jumped in my truck, I drove to the spot and asked "This is the spot, isn't it?" He looked shocked. "How did you know?" "Been there, done that" I said.
My Best Story Shared Was With Ms.Jule ! Made The Hair Stand Up On My Neck. As For What That Was Ya Captured On Film ? No Idea, Many Thanks For These Stories Davey & Nick ! Stay Safe & Healthy This Boogity Boogity Season, Friends ! ATB T God Bless
I've been saving this video to watch on a dark, cold, rainy Halloween night, here in England. It's now a Halloween tradition - spooky, true tales from Dave Nick and the Pearsons. Thanks for the great videos and Happy Halloween to all y'all.
Nick’s just getting his marshmallows good and gooey on the inside. I do that too, but I just get mine carefully burnt and THEN they are just how I want them!
On my phone it looks like a German World War II helmet with a gas mask. The kind of gas mask with one filter in the center. That’s what it looks like to me. Love the Scary story time with Dave and Nick. Be safe out there and thanks for the video.
Nick, I also like the charred on outside marshmallows...Don't recall having them since I was a kid...I remember one time wanting to go camping but couldn't for whatever reason , living in burbs back during '60's ..Got a tuna can, kitchen matches, few dry sticks & a wire coat hanger & made char marshmallows in back yard...LOL! > IDK what's on the trail in pic but possibly one "REALLY BIG MONKEY" ??? ... LOL!
Great video and love the Stories. Keep it up Dave. All the content is great. And love the ghost stories. I have many south GA personal stories. No Demons and no need for an Excorcist.
Happy Spooky Halloween! I love marshmallows burnt to a crisp...yum. The stories, campfire, flashlight, and the camera losing focus for a bit all adds to the foreboding ambiance! This video is spooktacular. It would be cool to share my stories with ya'll around a campfire. I do have a few stories that happened to me. I remember the pine forest video. It's a beautiful forest. It looks like, to me at least, a girl from the 1800's wearing a bonnet and hiking her dress up a bit... as if she was going to cross a creek. Enjoy your weekend. -Hollie
And a Happy Spooky Halloween to you too Hollie! This video was a lot of fun. I love telling the stories as long as I don't have to live them. Lol. Thanks for watching
My kind of campfire chat! I used to light my marshmallows like Nick because as a kid that was the closest I’d ever get to having a torch like we always saw in the movies! The fire dying down and the flashlight effect was perfect! You are a creepy kind of guy Dave but in the best way! LOL! I still remember you telling about the feeling of dread on that nighttime camp on the scary mountain. I can’t remember the name of it. Good stuff guys. That image at the end has me stumped. Other than looking like a person with its head upturned I can’t interpret more. I hate you guys are on opposite shifts. Before I retired two years ago after my wife passed away my oldest son and I worked like that and together time was rare. Get together as much as you can for your sake as well as for us. Stay creepy just the way you are!
Thanks Steve and we are glad you liked it! That video was mystery on Johns Mountain and man was it ever scary! Hopefully we'll both be on day shift in about a year. Take care and thanks for watching
Interesting stories. There's more in life than we most of the times see or feel, when going through our daily tasks.. I like your ghost stories best of all your video's. Johns Mountain was also interesting. And the ones with your brother and father.
Thanks Steve and a Happy Halloween to you too! So far we've given out over 3 pounds of candy so there's not much left for us to eat! Lol. Thanks for watching brother
My one and only scary story was when I was hiking in the AZ desert at 1:30AM alone. A creature approached, which at first I thought was human. As it got closer I realized it wasn’t human but was trying to appear so. It spoke a strange unintelligible non-human language. It also had the ability to hide its face in a strange cloud-like fog. It approached and I shouted repeatedly for it to stop but it didn’t. Finally I pulled my knife on it and brandished it, and shouted again for it to stop. Finally it did and I approached and as soon as I pursued it, it turned and ran and vanished right before my eyes. Every word of this is the absolute truth.
Thanks for a nice video! Thanks for , By the camp fire talk ! It is more than worth its weight in gold, to be able to listen and take part in people's thoughts and everyday life around the world! Thanks ! I myself am 66 years old, retired. I live on an island in southern Finland. poor, but "Still alive and Kickin" 🙄! I wish you a nice weekend ! 😀👍
Holy gun smokes! That looks like a ballistic helmet. Great spooky story time. Can't wait for Nick to be a regular on your show. Love the father and son sharing time together.
Great real life stories. I saw a poltergeist staring out the window of the north tower of the Grey towers mansion in Milford, PA 11 years ago. Since this place is a historical mansion, I was taking pictures and snapped one at this image of a man in about his 30's in 1910-1920's attire, with a waxed mustache. I took this image to a group of people who observe and document paranormal activities in Gettysburg, PA, for their comments. They were very impressed by the image and unanimously concluded it was a real ghost.
Great video Dave!! I always look forward to your Halloween stories. As for the figure at the end, looks kinda like it has on an old doctor's mask from the 1800s. You know the long nose ones that were supposed to keep them from catching illnesses. Whatever it is, it's a really cool photo.
Well,I could tell about a real event here that happened in our home in the 1970’s,that would absolutely blow your mind, But I can’t because my wife and I made an agreement to never talk about it again, and we haven’t for 48 years and never will again. Now! With that being said,I really enjoyed this video and I think it’s one of y’all’s very best.Another thing I want to say is please let us at least see Nick once or twice during the video. Again,Great job guys!
Sounds about right Randy, anytime a haunting or evil occurrence happens most folks just want to forget about it and never mention it again. On the same way with John's Mountain. I told that story on video and I never want to talk about it again. Take care and thanks for watching my friend!
Dave I swear it looks like a bag with the recycling symbol but cut off a little bit. If this is your way of reminding us to clean up after ourselves in the woods it's clever lol
Those are three great stories, the one with the house with the bowling alley was my favorite, but the last one is really scary. The photo is also interesting, at the beginning I thought it was just a tree, but the longer you look at it, the more it looks like something human. I'm already looking forward to next year's scary stories 🙂
Thanks! We are glad you liked it. That figure in that photo could possibly be a tree but it certainly looks like a creepy figure! Thanks for watching my friend
At 2nd look at that pic. it looks like there may be 2 entities close together , besides the one on the bigger ones back . There are enhancement programs to bring out features in dark pic. Keep taking pic. Nick .
Excellent show.!! Thank you, Dave and Nick.!! I screenshot and zoomed, but I couldn't see what it was. Also, Dave, I've always thought you reminded me a bit like the comedian Bill Engvall. Seeing you with the campfire light, I thought you resembled him even more. Have a happy Halloween.
A little late from me to you and Nick but Happy Halloween! Another great spooky stories video in the books. I don't know about that photo but whomever or whatever it was watching you, it got some great ideas on some amazing camp gadgets and tools! 😮😊
I waited till it was dark to watch this. I turned all the lights off in the house. Good job Dave & Nick. Now I can sleep like a baby. You know, Up all night. lol
These were great stories, Dave. I must admit I am now very creeped out about the third one! I couldn't make out what was on the trail. Thank you so much for this spooky campfire video they never disappoint. I hope you, Nick and the rest of the family had a safe and Happy Halloween.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked them. That third story always creeped me out just hearing about it. I couldn't imagine actually living it! Take care and thanks for watching my friend!
It looks like leaves and trees at different distances forming a figure. Kind of a mind trick. I see things every year when I go deer hunting that look like deer in different lighting but end up just being stumps, tree branches, etc.. However in your picture it also looks like there’s another figure directly to the left of it and the two are facing each other and giving each other a handshake or something. I’m seeing things too I guess lol. Great video by the way. The Halloween stories are always good!
Always great Dave, when you and Nick are out there together. Enjoy your Halloween stories. Hope yall have a terrific Halloween. God bless ya'll and stay safe out there on your travels to these locations.
That last story was chilling not sure I can look in a mirror ever again. As for that photo it looked like some stick man creature. 😰😰😰😰😰😰☠️☠️💀💀💀☠️👻👻👻👻👻😰😰😰😰😰😰😰👻👻
Somewhere on RU-vid they'll be a guy telling the story of two spooky aparations walking out of the woods & turning to face him for a brief moment. He'd just finished up setting his camp & was collecting kindling when for a fleeting moment he caught a glimpse of..Dave & Nick.
I once sat watching a lying deer's ear flicker, waiting for it to stand up for a better shot. It was a little ways off along this ridge, so finally, when the thing just sat there showing zero signs of wanting to get up, I 'stalked' it to 'bump it' for a shot. Got closer only to realize the ear I was seeing (attached to a 'deer' that my mind had filled in for me) was an oak leaf, occaisionally stirring in the light autumn breeze. Some extra foliage, shadow/light-play and my imagination and desire to see a deer there all worked together to make that thing as real for me as anything I've ever wasted my time on. (Never shoot anything you're not 199% sure of!) And that's what's in the picture IMHO: foliage, dappled light, camera angle etc. Optical illusion. You literally can see (and sometimes hear) whatever you want to. Bush ink blots. Ever hear voices/laughter in gurgling water? Yeah. So has everyone else. They write stories and poems about it: "babbling brook"... I think we often see and hear what our subconscious mind wants us to. Ask any kind of LEO about different "eye witness accounts" of real things and how much they can vary. As for spooks and haunts... A different matter altogether, in my opinion. A minister who had once done (among other things) an 'exercism' once told me that he doesn't believe in ghosts. Just spirits, and not good ones either. He said "Don't fall for the 'Casper' thing. They're all evil, no matter what else they're trying to show you. If they can distract you, keep you confused, and/or convince you there's nothing to worry about, then they have won." Duh-duh-duhnnnnn...
Great stories man. That picture is pretty interesting for sure. The way it's looking up like that makes me feel like it was just about to phase out right when Nick caught the picture. Experiences like that open your eyes to understanding how little we can actually perceive and the possibilities of what could be going on all around us without us knowing. Thank you for sharing your stories. I sure enjoyed listening to them.
I haven’t commented on your channel the last few times because I was a little busy but I’ve binge-watched your cannel since I haven’t seen it in a while, and you and Nick are so talented which I really appreciate the type of video you do. I love you guys. 👌
I like to think I'm a "visual" person but I simply see more of the forest, streaked with light. Loved the stories and the marshmallow 🔥 giggles !! 👻 👽 😱 Love you guys. 👍😎🇨🇦
Hello Dave and Nick, good spooky stories. That's really wild, the story about the lady that told you the story, from Sterling Heights, Michigan. That's very close to where I live. My father worked at the Sterling Stamping Plant right there! How weird is that. As for the photo, can't really make it out too well either. Looks like someone wearing clothing from long ago and looking up, maybe?? Weird stuff! a bit spooky. Happy Halloween 👻👻🦇🦇🎃🎃
Hello Jeff! Yep, Sterling Heights. I'm guessing there was a lot of automotive industry there? That does look a lot like a very old costume! Thanks for watching and a Happy Halloween to you too
Hi Dave and Nick! Fun stories, I always enjoy the Halloween video. As far as what is going on in that picture, I can't make up my mind. The "legs" look like small tree trucks, and if the rest of the "object" was consistent with the surrounding growth, I would just dismiss it. But it is not consistent. There appears to be sharp angles on the "back" of the object which does not fit in with nature at all.
Thanks Guy's! I absolutely love these videos. Y'all do a great job. I also liked when you had other family and friends on. Dave, as a side note, I bought a Kennedy machinist chest and it had all of the stuff from the owner. He was a tool and die maker that worked in a Chrysler plant in both Michigan and Ohio from the early 1970s until he retired. That stuff that no one wanted told that mans life story.
Thanks Danny, We are glad you liked it. Oh wow, you are so right! That box from that tool and diemaker was his life. Probably a lot of handmade items in there. Thanks for watching
My wife and I enjoyed the spooky stories. See all those leaves in the foreground of the shot? Part of that "figure" kind of looks like it could be one of those leaves. Our brains try to see something like a human shape and I think that hinders us when we try to make things out like this. Just a suggestion, but who knows. Happy Halloween, guys!
Love your Halloween stories. Enjoyed them. That last one you told about the mirror was really something.. As for the being, it looks like a human dressed in black from head to foot. Thank you for a great video. 🤗🍂
Always like these Halloween 🎃 breaks of yours and Nick's. Some of the stories I find a bit disturbing, but then I guess that's what Halloween 🎃 is about. I could have eaten a few of those mallows, mind you, and I agree with Nick....burnt and crunchy....no idea what that figure is in the photo! Someone with a child on their back maybe???? Perhaps it's best not to know and leave it as just another one of those strange mysteries.🎃👹. Happy Halloween 👻👻 to you both and thanks again for another great video 👍
Thanks Spencer, I'm glad you liked it. The third story is extremely disturbing in my book. That photo will probably remain a mystery. Thanks for watching and a Happy Halloween to you too!
Darn I was saving this for Halloween (as I have the last couple of years) but I got interrupted and couldn’t watch ..so I’m pretending today is Halloween II lol…they do say it lasts 3 days before and 3 days after 😮…. Probably shouldn’t be doing this before bed 🥴😊 Great stories as always….thanks Dave & Nick
@@Reallybigmonkey1 why ?? did you think they just made up that name for "X-Men First Class" Dave? ..no no no ...they all have names just like all the Archangels .. Leviathan for example is the demon that lurks in machinery.. like a technological demon ....you've seen " Christine" about the mustang ?...cheers man
Nick and I like our marshmallow the same way. All I need is a butane jet lighter , A bag full and a stick, but a fire is much better😂 Happy Halloween guys!
