But first of all a remark: This video is two years old by the time of this writing. I stopped playing Spore the day I uploaded it and haven't touched it since, so please refrain from sending me messages asking me for advice. There are community forums and walkthroughs for that. You're welcome to ask questions in the commentary section, but don't expect me to answer them. I won't. If you have troubles understanding what's going on, read the commentary. In case you are wondering how I made 28 Million Sporebucks, I re-cultivated solar systems that had exceptional amounts of rare spice. So, no - I didn't cheat. You can check out the farms and my non-existent Joker badge by getting the savegames that I used to make this video. They allow you to jump into the game right next to the Grox before and after allying with them. The savegames were created with version 1.0 of Spore. By the way, don't ask me where to put these. To clear up this whole *If you ally with the Grox everyone is at war with you"-shit that I mentioned in the video's comment, here's how to boost your stats with your allies to a level that they stay allied with you even after getting the Grox on your side:
Fulfill their missions: +100
Embassy: +50
Gifts: +50
Using friendly tools: +50
You agreed to help us: +10
You introduced yourself: +10
All these add up to +270 alone. Throw in other extras like helping their planet, or establishing trade routes and you'll end up with over 350 credit points on the plus side. This way no puny -200 penalty for allying with the Borg of the Spore universe will make you the most hated race there.
