I loved this game back when it came out. The only really disappointing bit is the Space stage is underwhelming.

I played this game when it came out when I was younger and I loved it. I puts days of playtime into it and it never got old. Great replayability. This should be a great series to watch GB. Keep em comin.

You can select a part on your animal and then click TAB to rotate the parts while you are in the cell creator :)

Genny, I don't know if you know this, but you can have more than one mouth. You can add an herbivore mouth along side the carnivore mouth to make your creature an omnivore. This will open a lot of options for you in the long run. Btw I'm so excited you're playing spore!!

Hey GB, i love this game! And I'd love to see you continue to play it!:D I played it soooo much, so my advice is to find out with you want to be friendly or evil and stick to whichever path you choose. Your decisions in early stages very much effect your game in later stages. With your path so far, you'll have to do the animal stage solo. You'll have a hard time getting allies, but an easy time taking out your enemies. Good luck and I'm looking forward to the series!

Get an OMNIVORE MOUTH (omnivore and carnivore)! Without it, you will have trouble in the Creature part!

No he won't. Even if you play as a purely friendly carnivore you can just evolve whenever you get hungry.

Genny its always good to get the item that lets you eat the veggies(green blobs) because it is still a food source and lets you heal up while running so you dont have to kill to get food.

The spore nerd in me is glad you picked the planet closest to the center of the galaxy. I only ever made it there once (non cheaty) and if you want this series to last forever, that is a good end goal.

Be creative with the creature stage, Genny! You have a lot more options with that. And take advantage of any parts you can find- you can mate and change your creature as often as you want.

You'll probably figure it out eventually Genny, but you can lengthen and rotate any parts, including the Skeleton, so you can have the spikes on your face and stick them forward, or make yourself a blob shape or like a worm. Great to see spore again, I may have to restart it myself. Edit: Indeed, three minutes later, he figures it out. :P Edit: also, IIRC if you left click (or some click or button) you can see other creatures names, and they're pretty funny

I remember I was so hyped up for this game and of course I was so hyped that I was a little disappointed with it. However, it still is a great game and I'm looking forward to seeing how you play it! I'm actually thinking about playing this again since the space part is rather fun.

I played Spore quite a lot back then (and i were really creative) I'm looking really forward for this series, but keep in mind that you may use your time to creat good looking creatures. Some tips: While Creating stuff use Tab, CTRL und Shift! Also if you hold the right mouse button on a color you get more shades.

just started watching this Let's play. and it brings back memories. in the cell stage i would always beef up my speed first so i could catch more food, and then id add defenses. but always focusing on speed.
