Sounds like a species I made once called the Haadis. They dominated the tribal stage and built a massive galactic empire…then I got bored and quit the game for five years. Recently though I’ve picked up on a new game and I’ve turned them into a kind of world building project

I made a creature called the Jabberwocky, I made it lovecraftian and it was beautiful and flesh colored and inside out and I miss spore so much!

The land stage is pretty much the second-best part.

i had no fun with it.

imo land stage is kinda... meh. it really just boils down to "oh nice a new part after 1000 tries that ill never afford or need" and "oh look a new species with a dick on it" srsly befriending or killing species over and over is kinda annoying

The land stage is kinda like WoW, you walk most of the time and when it comes to actual gameplay, it get's boring.

They basically just fixed the broken shit like ship movement (that should have been fixed to begin with), added a really nonsensical and quite frankly horribly written story, and added a bunch of vehicles that range from useless to hilariously useless (looking at you hauler...thing travels at 1mp/h). So....no. It is not better. It is just an alright game that still does not even live up to the potential it said it would have at launch. Buy it if it is on discount now because it is a functional game at least (eve though every other patch introduces gamebreaking bugs that take forever to be fixed....) and is good fun....if a bit shitty and hollow of an experience.

Update from the future NMS is the BETTER spore now. They made it, they finally done did it

you could use it to get the origin version, which is actually better than the steam version due to it being less buggy and actually possible to still get on the servers with the steam version can do online, but its seemingly random on if it works or not
