@@gaymothaunt You basically inspired me to become a worldbuilder. I made a Spore video similar to yours, that got me into SporeWiki, and it all spiralled from there, into a massive worldbuilding project that lasted 8 years :)

I recently just re-bought Spore, now with ALL the DLCs, and I LOVE what they've designed here. They're all so creative and wonderful, now I want to meet them in my OWN Spore games! ...Too bad I can't seem to find this folk's Spore page...

That's what I missed out playing Spore when I was younger, I never had a set mindset playing the game but now I'm heavily tempted to get it on Steam and do different archetype playthroughs and evolving a more thematically consistent race to support it as well as doing more writing.

If the spore universe is in a cycle of being reborn right after it’s death, this is not very innacurate. Perhaps their species came to be during the end of their universe, the last sapient species to exist while all the others went extict for various reasons, a time when only red dwarf stars were alive and all the others went supernova. Maybe they invented biological immortality and since the end of their universe was now not an event that will happen so far off into the future it may as well not happen at all, but a very real event that will kill all of their kind, so their society became focused on living through the death of the universe until a new one is created. Carefully, they would conserve the remaining energy of the universe, but even they were no magicians and could not create energy out of nothing, and eventually, it ran out, after more than a hundred billion years. It would take an eternity for all the matter in their universe to die, so they tried another way, to search for a younger universe to inhabit. In those hundreds of billions of years, their technology did stagnate a lot, but many advances were achieved, making their technological capabilities seem like magic. They could be sending scout ships to the spore universe in the time this video takes place, having their strange forms because the laws of physics are a bit different in the spore universe, just waiting to find the right place to start the colonization of the spore universe from with their colony ships.

The Gribbliupper race originates on the planet Trion-12, they were always traders and have succeeded in sustaining all races while buying out enough systems to build a core around their home solar system. They seem to be extremely smart and went to the extent of claiming that their lack of combat and social features is due to them needing room to expand their knowledge. They are one of the 6 major races fighting the grox right now.

I'm glad I could inspire. I seek to entertain first, but inspiration is another more important goal for me. =) I made the flags in Fireworks, just with a few coloured rectangles and what not. The pictures are from ingame screenshots - in test drive mode, use the black background and take a picture. You'll get a screenshot with a transparent background for you to use. And if this universe is truly infinite, then that means there is an infinite chance of sentient life being elsewhere in it.

I thought of one species that seems to appear and dissapear at will. They have sparked urban legends abound in the galaxy because they live at the very edge of all galactic wheel spokes, and have a seemingly supernatural power. Every civilization that sparked war with them has returned to their star systems to hear the same story: They had been taken over before their space program had started, and then a paradox would cause their civilizations to mysteriously dissapear.

I always end up returning to this video. It’s such a nostalgic piece of my childhood, that I always come back to whenever I inevitably start playing Spore again. I love the stories behind each species (Especially the Aeraphi and Glinderrac) and it inspires me to make my own lore for my own spore galaxy. I’ve recently started my own galaxy, and it already has Zombie Bugmen, Avian Frogs, and Reptilian Centipedes. I also made some cool spaceships with their own stories. This video is an inspiration, and I hope many others see it

@@gaymothaunt Wow uh, I was 100% not expecting you to respond to this comment- But yeah, in my opinion, this video is kinda what spore is all about to me. Making your own stories with your own alien empires. Right now my most successful empire is the Kinesos, as they try to find a new homeworld as their actual homeworld is freezing over. But yeah, I love the amount of effort you put into your world building, and to me it's really inspiring in general. While I'm aware you don't play spore anymore, I'm glad that you uploaded your experience to RU-vid, because if you didn't, I wouldn't have seen the amount of creativity you put into your creations. I'm even subscribed to your Spore channel thing, and I have to say, my favorite creations of yours are the starships based on the major arcana. Yeah, Hajitzhao is a Shodus. He's also a renegade who broke away from the Charne (Shodus homeworld) society and is basically an outlaw who runs around doing whatever he wants. He's now part of Team Auriga with RAX, Ahshusa Am'Asaami and Crank Gasket. Why he follows them isn't known, but it's speculated he owes RAX somehow. =P

I've been hearing rumors to the effect of that lately. Not sure whether or not it's true because there's no way i'm going to reinstall Spore if it mandates an install of Origin. Kind of telling how EA operates that they don't really care if one of their past library games becomes unplayable to save some cash. Won't stop them still selling that game, of course. Give it a year or two and that new failed Sim City will no doubt succumb to the same fate. Mark my words.

Your story inspired me to make my own. It is set from the perspective of a newly uplifted species reading an archive made by the species that uplifted them. Profile: Safe. Password: Correct. Species Archives: Open. Species: Sahrot-Kel. (Roughly translates to 'Titan Prime' in the creature reading the archives.) Mental Advancement: Above average. Physical: Below average. Technological: Supreme. The current superpower guarding the galactic core after the destruction of the Grox, The Sahrot-Kel currently has the most advanced technology in Bormahu-Delta, They are the oldest leading power in it as well. They have engaged conflict with the new, yet already large, sprawling Unslaad-Krosis Empire, controlled by the Sos-Ah, also referred to as Trashers, a former ally of the now destroyed Grox, but no war has broken out yet. The only possible way their technology is hundreds of billions of years older than the universe is that they travel between universes. They evolved in the first universe, and when their universe ended, they migrated to another universe. They just kept migrating each time. When the Spore universe ends... they shall migrate again.

Well like I said, if the universe is infinite then there's an infinite chance of anything. That's not accounting for parts of reality we don't know about; alternate dimensions, other realities, other universi. Think about it. Many planets make up a solar system. Many stars make up a constellation. Many constellations make up a galaxy. Many galaxies make up a universe. Many universi make up... well, who knows how many orders of magnitude there are? All the way down to cells and atoms.

I think the "xx"s disappeared because of SPODE or the creators of Spore for they abandoned the aquatic stage which never made into the game! Am I right? [yeah, my guesses suck]

Wow, this is amazing. You have such an imagination to come up with individual backgrounds and stories for these races. I Was Referring to the In-Game Sporepedia.Ive found em but I have No Idea How or If I can Sheperd these into the game and find them in the Game.Also Alfter Remembering to read the Description and Finding out whose species is whose.I have to say that I find Your Species Better than those of the other two peoples.

Actually I find myself rather annoyed with myself. I was going through my races seeing which to pick out for a profile vid a while back and noticed a lot of them are humanoid. KOR were originally humanoid, I just added two sets of legs. Aeraphi, Xi, Fixoc, Shodus and Sharsararak are all two-arms two-legs things. Protomiael and Micanex are fairly humanoid-ish as well. The annoying thing is I try to avoid making humanoids. -_-"
