Classic sportscars - and larger GT cars built with brisk motoring in mind - are the focus of today's "original photographs" compilation, and in it 125+ contemporary car images feature, some in colour, others black & white.
You'll find once-common sports cars & GTs such as the MGB, Triumph Spitfire, Austin-Healey, Reliant Scimitars, Lotuses and Jaguars. Rarer sightings of sporting classic cars include example(s) of Rochdale Olympic, Porsche 356, AC Ace and Elva. I've also included a number of home-built "specials" as a nod to the legions of enthusiastic home-mechanics who built their own sportscars, often on a tight budget, using whatever parts they could get their hands on.
