This week on Sports Files, Greg Gaston talks with famed fisherman and television personality Bill Dance about his long career as the TV host of an outdoors/fishing show, including highlights of interesting people he's met.
We lost our leader at Creme Lure Co. this weekend, Wayne Kent. The Kent family bought Creme Lures in the mid 80s after Nick Creme passed away. Please keep the Kent family in your prayers.
Outstanding bill dance and I have grown old together and over the years in and around the lndianapolis area the shows he had here he has been to me a live long fishing bass that is never missed to many of his tv shows it has been a great run good bless Milton
This interviewer needs to slow down and let Bill talk. This would've been a good interview if he didn't force Bill to only answer in the format he wanted
The interviewer didn’t seem to get it. That Bill Dance’s children and grand children ARE the celebrities in his life. Any good interviewer would have understood that and ended it there.
The day's gettin' late and the sun's setting low. Caught me a bigun but I let it go. Had a lotta fun just watchin' him stretch my line.... Love Bill Dance!
What this interviewer doesn’t get is people are interested in bills story’s, no matter where they go. There’s no need to rush him. I could listen to the man for hours.
People probably don't remember back when Bill Dance was probably the best bass fisherman in the United States. The only thing he couldn't win was the classic. But neither could Roland Martin. Back then my money would of been on Dance.
