Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has completed the track and field renovation at Jefferson County High School. Located an hour outside of Augusta, the Warriors received an artificial turf stadium field, new 8-lane running track and field events.
Sports Turf Company renovated Jefferson County High School’s existing natural grass field into an artificial turf system that surpasses others in safety, durability, and performance. The system features Astro Turf’s RootZone® 3D System, Brock shock pad and BrockFILL. AstroTurf’s system is a performance artificial turf that combines slit-film and monofilament fibers with a RootZone layer of texturized fibers for optimum durability and better shock absorbency. The Brock shock pad and BrockFILL are specifically engineered to optimize safety for athletes during impacts to the surface. BrockFILL is the latest in organic infills and is sustainably grown and harvested in Georgia.

In addition to the field renovations, the Warriors received a newly resurfaced 8-lane running track and field events. The renovation of the existing running track and field events for the Warriors included: milling the existing asphalt, new interior/exterior curbs, new paving, installation of synthetic track surfacing, new shot put pad and landing area, long jump/ triple jump runway, pole vault, and discus cage.
