I suppose you cannot really say "synchronised" if there's only one performer since synchronised swimming is about synchronised choreography accompanied by music. That's why I love that the term has now been changed to artistic swimming, which may pave the way to the return of solo artistic swimming.

You can still catch Skijoring in Leadville, CO and a few other mountain towns in the winter here. It's always a great time.

I knew all the ones from the summer games because I have an unhealthy obsession with the summer games. But the winter ones were new to me. I particulary like Ski Ballett.

Skijoring doesn't seem dangerous at all.

I didn't know there were Demonstration sports in the Olympics. Saldy in the US, with NBC having a stranglehold on the Olympic footage I almost exclusively see diving, swimming, ski events, and running. Of course there is a smattering of other events that I catch here and there, but never the things I want to see. The Olympics are a world wide event and should be freely viewable for streaming online instead of being locked behind a corporate pay wall. There's a huge disconnect between society at large and the Olympics at this point. I'm the only person I know that even tries to watch them anymore. Having grown up watching them in the 80's it was such a big thing, so there's some nostalgia there for me. I'd love to be able to pull up an Olympics app and watch, in real time or later on, any event I wanted to. I've always wanted to see Fencing and some of the Martial Arts, but I never have.

Shame about tug of war, I’d rather see muscle than artistic stuff. Like in the Ancient Greek olympics. Pay homage to our power and skill!!!

I'm glad we've removed most sports that involved animals. But I'm surprised we don't have Lacross. Tug of war and rope climb feel like very possible sports, but i understand it's hard to be a "professional" and live as an athlete in such sport.

There are a lot of CURRENT Olympic sports that Americans don't get to see. If there's not an American with a Chance to medal, they don't show it.

I don't think any sport that is commercial viable should be an Olympic sport. I only want to see the weird stuff.

Inline Skating: NOT an Olympic sport in any form. Not in extreme or in speed formats. How is that.
