Putting new tires on my 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570. I had Gorilla Silverbacks on it but did not like them so i ran the stock tires all year up until now. 28x9x12 ITP Mega Mayhem's on ITP Steel Rims.
Nice ride! Those tires dig hard, I enjoy them. FYI easy on the uga dugas. I used to do the same thing until I had a wheel fly off due to stretched and weakened lugs.
Hey awesome video. Riding here in New Jersey. I watched it 3 months ago and because of you I upgraded. I have the same bike and color 2019 570. I got 28x10x12 and 28x12x12 Maxxis Zillas with 1"spacers and just installed them today. Unbelievable difference. Its so stable but sucks on pavement. I did lose some power which I knew but will do clutch kit from EPI. Would love to see more videos of your 570.
@@Mr.majic_cracker it just depends on what tire u run keep ur shock preload down around 1 or 2.. I dont think with skinny mayhems u will break an axle just dont be crazy coming out of mud holes now if u got to an outlaw or silverbacks it will snap in the first nasty mudhole u come to recommendation if u go to 1 of those tires upgrade ur axles to rhinos or monster axles before u hit the trail or u could be pulled back
Also those delta steel wheels are very heavy I know there kinda cheap and look ok but they add a ton of unsprung weight u should have just stuck with stock if staying steel anyway the stock steels are 8 lbs lighter per wheel which is like adding 8 lbs to ur tire weight
OMW2FYB _09 im not sure but most likely you will be able to fit 28s with a 2” lift or probably 27s with no lift. You would have to do some measurements!
I warned you about the ITP 6 ply tires do not go on train tracks with them they will rip right through 5 miles into my ride brand new tires had a huge hole
@@EvanCaron Hey, so as a first wheeler I recently got a dead 02 Sportsman 700 (now running after a fair bit of work) and a great deal on some Rzr rims with Blackwater Evolution 28" tires. I'm looking into the necessary lifts and things, but you're the first I've heard mention blowing the axles with bigger tires. Could you elaborate on that?
