Hello, in order to avoid flying over areas with 0 rate you would need to adjust the boundaries of the operation manually when creating the prescription map in PIX4Dfields. In case you have more questions please contact our support team www.pix4d.com/support/.
Hi Julius, great video! Am I able to leave to application rates & information for the spray drone "blank" and simply let the spray drone operator input this data during their preplanning prior to flight?
Hi, nice tutorial! When I insert the SD card in my AgrasT30 remote control, I can't see the "prescription map" option to import the prescription, i only see the other two options... But in the SD there is the Rx folder. Help, thanks!
Hello! Make sure that your Agras has the latest firmware installed (Aircraft: 01.00.0602 Remote Controller:01.00.0602 APP:5.5.3). You would also need to put the output like this on your SD-card: DJI -> ShapeFile, Rx.
Question 🙋♂️ So after mapping the area, you get your normal A B lines. Is there a way to have it follow your spray path Basically I’m going to be spraying ditches the ditches are in a form of a long snake. So I’m trying to find out if I can follow just the ditches or will it only fly the A B lines?
Hello, you could manually draw spray zones, no-sprayzones and obstacles, use the magic tool to automatically detect the ditches area and the area out of them so to create a spot spraying map only for the ditches area or mark the area outside of the ditches as obstacle. You could check our step-by-step quide on how to create a spot spraying map here: support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/11186798543261-How-to-create-a-targeted-spraying-map-PIX4Dfields
It seems that it does not work for Agras T40. It imports the boundary and the prescription map with variable rates (in my case 4 different rates), but doesn't show those variable rates on the screen, just a simple route with one single rate.
After import you need to load the prescription file with the button in the top right corner. You will then see the colored map underneath your flight route.
@@julius_pix4d Thanks' a lot, Julius, and yes, it worked as you said. Could you just clarify a couple of points? When I do like that, it works not in the Fruit Tree/Spot Spraying mode, but in the Field mode, in which I have to plan the spraying rates as liters/hectare. It can be solved by calculating the actual spraying area of each plant and then making the conversion. But is this the only way to do or there's a way to use the Fruit Tree/Spot Spraying mode plus variable rates? The other problem about the Field mode is that matching the route (which covers the whole area) with the actual spraying points doesn't seem to work.
Hi Julius, I have an issue with sending a targeted operation to my XAG drone. I generate the map as your video show but when I send it to my drone there are some sections not there. Have you seen this in the past?
Hello maybe you find this aricle helpful support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/12451352818973-Targeted-spraying-maps-for-XAG-P100's-drones-with-PIX4Dfields.
Hi Julius, I have a problem with my pix4Dfields that there is no Operation button next to the Magic Tool Button, mine has Zonation instead of operation and I can not get the exact files that are required for drone use with the zonation button, can you please help me out on how I can get the operation Button there ?? 5:18
