Giving away boards is a nice sentiment but theres so many problems with it... #1 - A really tiny % of people are cut out to really be skateboarders. Odds are whatever random kid you give it to is going to either hurt themself or get over it after trying it for a few minutes and discovering how hard it actually is #2 - What are they supposed to do after the board inevitably breaks down? Nobody is going to get to the sponsored level on their first board, and If they are so poor they really can't afford skateboards that is a desperate situation that needs all kinds of other problems addressed before worrying about skateboarding. #3 - Giving a random sized board to a person and odds are it won't be a good size and shape for them. Most boards are going to be too large for children, and most older people who already do skate would probably find any size setups but the ones they like to buy to be a pain to skate
