Dawn Staley had a very high basketball IQ with skills, talent selflessness & a big heart & communication for other player's that she played with, she was & will always be one of the best point guards in women's basketball. She knows the game like the back of her hands, she a winner,a student of the game,a teacher of the game & a excellent coach as well.( I have much respect for the legend & Hall of Famer ,Dawn Staley,God bless her,her family & friends)
There was a game from Dawn Staley's days at UVa in which she made this crazy no-look pass. Either she was driving to the hole and threw it behind her back to an open shooter, or she was on the perimeter and threw a pass backwards to an open player under the hoop. One of the most amazing plays I have ever seen. It was nationally televised, so IF ANYONE HAS THAT VIDEO, please post it :-). As an alumni of U of South Carolina, I hope she brings one home to Columbia.
I agree with Charles comment. Cynthia Cooper was the only WNBA player that made me feel like I was watching a female Michael Jordan! And Dawn Staley was my second favorite
They were nice, and iconic for their time but its a hell nah. Wouldn't go that far. Today's gamers are filthy because of women like Dawn giving them inspiration
I was at lemon hill playground i mad a move where i spent left and put the ball back in right then passed the ball from grass area i hear a female say u should have finished it i look over and it was Dawn i just smiled.
I remember watching the first WNBA game as a kid it was dope men took them more serious then today men bash the league. Anyhow Dawn was so fineeee to me as a 9 year old 😂
Where's the subscribe button? Sign up for $7.99 for what WNBA. It's stuff like this that's not right in woman's sports. Dawn Stanley is changing the game, not Clark.
