This weeks spotlight on campgrounds is
Awinya Creek Campground
West Coast of Fraser Island QLD
25°4'17" S 15310'14" E
This campground is on the West Coast of the island and is nothing like the East Coast. It has a very relaxed feel about it. There are NO facilities here so you need to be fully self sufficient.
Activities in the area include camping, fishing, boating, chilling, Its a nice basecamp for the surrounding area or just to relax for a few days. The crossing is tidal so be aware of that.
