He is and always has been a legend: his role in Enter the Dragon, watching him in Karate Illustrated, he is the real deal. His fighting stance is pure gold
I was not familiar with GrandMaster Sijo Steve Muhammad before this interview but I am so glad I know who he is now! What a legend! Having the fastest hands in karate is no small feat!!
He really is making so much sense about street fighting and tournament fighting I saw a lot of tournament fighters fighting against street fighters in the street and get beat up. Thank you for this content cheers.
What an amazing interview Fam! You asked all the right questions! What a legendary conversation! Love to see you give flowers to the living legends while they are still here to smell them!✊🏾🙌🏾
Great to hear one of the Great ones! I’ve been inspired by this Noble for years. He has shined light for some of us that were in the dark . Thank you King
Believe it or not I was a member of the BKF back in 78-79. Steve was still Mr Sanders back then. He and Mr Williams were my head Masters. My immediate teacher was Steven Hurd. If either is still with us…please tell them Caryn Goodknight sends her love.
Oh wow! This was really a great interview to hear! Never knew about all the great things Sijo did! And as always, you did a great job interviewing and asking the right questions!
I would be in awe to be able to interview someone of this guys achievement. Talk about a history lesson and to be one of the very few blacks around doing this. Also trained with Bruce Lee would be a honor to meet someone on that level. Learned so much and a very exciting listen!
I don't think him or anyone could have replaced Jim Kelly in Enter the Dragon, but can you imagine him in martial arts films? What they don't tell you is he beat Chuck Norris, Mike Stone and Joe Lewis .He is a true Grandmaster and I don't throw that term around often
What brother Muhammad is discussing about the minds eye is what the martial arts Gung fu masters call eagle vision using the Peripheral vision this is how eagles or hawks catch their prey the Chinese mastered this skill. It is a very important exercise especially fighting against a opponent or multiple fighters.
@@KungfuKhronicles : Yes Sir,....(with the word of SSM) I had the honor of working on the set of Blade I; and Wesley was very down to earth! This brotha' was in shape too! I personally don't think he's an easy picking.
Ok I'll prob throw up a quick short of staff vs staff in next few days if that sounds good. Also working on a beginner 3 section staff tutorial if that sounds interesting ...be on look out for that to drop during the holidays. Thx for watchin.
