Absolutely gorgeous. Instead of the red, I wonder what a black chrome finish would look like. (If a black chrome finish is even available, of course). But still, FANTASTIC video
why is the recipe so big secret? tollens reagent started years and years ago and still the recipe is a secret. can anyone give me the info on the recipe.
I'm still not a fan, as I was taken to the cleaners by Spectra Chrome. Kudos to you, for showing the "ENTIRE" process. I still do not believe, that there is a practical application for this process in 105 degree weather as here in Texas. The silver will still crack, peel, and flake off, as it did in my experience. I also wish all of your "guys" would address the fact that the silver chemicals really do not have any kind of shelf life either. Overall, I am impressed with your video and hope you spank the shit out of Spectra Chrome, and that idiot who owns it!
Sorry that happened to you.We hear stuff like this all the time. Our chemicals have a shelf life of one year. Our mixed silver chemicals 90 days. We have plenty of former customers of theirs that use our chemicals successfully. Our product is quit durable. We are the only spray chrome that passed Disney's 5 year UV test.
Hi Kevin Customs, Send us an email to sales@goldtouchinc.com and we will send you an info package. You can also see us at SEMA the first week on November if you are going. North Hall booth 10709.
Just got a DIY Cosmichrome machine, for 2500$ looks to me like a guy with experience can do a very exotic cosmic paint job! I will let you know how my 1995 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide turns out W/Candy apple red (factory color for Harley) over chrome, same as the 52 MG process! I am told that 100 square feet of Cosmichrome costs 500$? I would say that would do eight large bumpers, or around five gas tanks W/ fenders, but that does not include the red. My guess is around 200$ for a complete three piece Harley job, tank and two fenders! Materials only, then labor, and some kind of guarantee! Really am a little exited about being able to diy my baby! I also understand that a spray booth is a must, to keep foreign particles out of the fresh paint,
