First time never goes correctly. That's almost like the first kid it's learning curve. But I can see you can get two very good benefits the roof will be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I think that was a super idea. PS I love the voice it sounds like a parakeet in reverse😂
I had the same problem with the heat in my Ford Transit and a few weeks ago I completely insulated the roof from front to back. Self-adhesive insulation works great and reduces the temperature by almost 20K.
seriously, I work less hours than he does (i assume) and I only do the cold side of things, I can't believe he has the motivation to do this stuff after the day job is done lol
😊 True story - I sat down with my laptop 8:30 last night to play a game and my brain was like “what are you doing when are you gonna get your van roof done” and off I went. I didn’t want to. I’m just a sick individual 😂
No vapor barrier???? What are you going to do about the moisture (condensation) that builds up between the foam insulation and the sheet metal roof before rusting sets in?
No barrier is needed with this product and this application IF I get it completely applied without the spotty as it currently is. Another can and knowing how to lay it on this enough THEN she’ll be alright. Great questions
I would have maybe tried cut to fit some type of insulation board just to avoid spraying. I suck at spray painting so me with spray insulation would have been a disaster.
lol. It wasn’t much better for me 😂. I can tell you what a difference even this disaster is. Roof was 120 inside. Now 90. And I’m laying down more cans this week. Then I’m cover it with frp to hide my ugly
