Little tip, if you warm up the cans before spraying with some warm water, they’ll spray a bit better than cold. I’ve painted a couple civics with rattle can myself 😅
I love this series. I painted my car with Rust-Oleum turbo spray cans. Did a lot of wet sanding and polishing after and it came out fantastic. Keep up the hard work.
Just a tip! Im an automotive painter, A lot of colors like a ground coat. it helps the color cover easier and faster, reds and blues specifically. i dont know how far apart the epoxy and paint coats were. painted a Chrysler Tricoat today that used a very light ground coat before the red which also lightens the color! Very impressed with the rattle can! Color looks awesome!
The paint job came out excellent, with a wet sand/buff n polish it will look like a professional job. Thank you for showing the process in normal speed, I painted a hood in black and it came out terrible but after looking at the way you do it, it’s because I was painting too fast.
Rattle canned my e36 with purple matt, no prep light 320 sand and wipe with alcohol before. I did it outside. Result are really good for drift missle 😅
I used to work at Napa and mixed paint for a while , Than started flipping cars and used base coat rattle can with 2k clear after and always looked perfect , Prep is the most important
What a great job you did I’ve done something similar recently previously I used clear coat but it wasn’t 2k when I wet sanded it it looked awful regardless of compound or buffing will it be different with 2k clear coat ?
Ive used spray max 2k clear over Rust-Oleum and had pretty good results i canale Rust-Oleum look really good with a wet sand and buff the problem is its really soft porous so dirt and stuff sticks to it really easy and it doesn't last long. But with 2k clear it seems to hold up well.
I’m glad this video is longer if appreciat it if all the videos could be a bit longer I’m sure a few ppl will agree with me😅just really enjoy watching your content Evan keep up the great work🫶🏼
Shoulda used one of those super cans or mega cans---whatever they call em... Like 18" tall, and spectacular coverage. EDIT: OMG the little ones reaction! Awesome, may God bless!
when i was like 16 i tried rattle can paint my first car and lets just say i would have been floored to see results even half as good as this! looks sweet beautiful color
The whole time I was thinking... One of these companies needs to work with Rustoleum and be able to use their Turbo cans. Those things are insanely efficient 😁👍
People always say you can't achieve good paint results with a rattle can. I made sure I had a thick enough coat, used some basic painting knowledge and just DIY'ed it. Turned out great!
All that work for a rattle can job? Why not just wrap it yellow so it looks perfect love watching the videos but ur the one that said u were gonna step up the quality and finish all your builds the right way looks like a step down
Not sure what's wrong with trying something new? Definitely not half-assing this or dropping quality ❤ Check out the IS300 paint job if you want something else
Dude you gotta stop posting stuff where it’s like “I’m going to do the thing” and then you bashing on what you did wrong or why it’s not perfect. It’s depressing. This is like my motivational channel lol
