I tinted the tail lights on my Citroen C1 using aerosol spray on light tint. Much easier than vinyl wrapping and a decent result for very little effort. Citroen C1 / Peugeot 107 / Aygo / CityBug
YES! The C1 shitter is back 🙌 😍 I would be proud to go to school in that and tell all my mates that my dad works for team Red Bull F1. Brilliant footage 👏
It’s not going anywhere soon, well… saying that I’ve not even driven the car for about a month. I lent it my mate and it’s so good that now he’s ignoring me since I asked for it back. Obviously just wants to keep it! P.s. my lad also “loves” being dropped off at school in it. So much so that he insists I drop him where nobody can see it, the cheeky little bastard 🙄
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos We need it back for more YT videos 📹 This shitter is the star of the show? * Your lad will look back at in one day and see that you was cool 😎 👌
I wonder what the outcome would be if the lights were flatted with wet and dry like you do for headlights before spraying. They do look better after you polished them for sure.
Had been considering this but didn’t know if it would look tacky, I was gonna ask in the group but have you ever tackled stuck/seized plugs? Mine wouldn’t budge after taking the coil packs off, have a set of denso tt to go in🙄
@@jackdyet2902 I think it looks better than I expected. Yea I’ve done my fair share of stuck plugs. I find that sometimes a bit of shock helps (small impact gun used gently). Also sometimes doing it when the engine is hot can help
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I guess depends how picky the MOT tester is. Just MOTd the other car yesterday (not the C1) and decided to leave the Auxito headlight bulbs in. He failed it. I had to swap them back out in the carpark and retest it. Soon as I got home put the LEDs back in. 😂
@@gavjlewis I had to swap mine too. As an MOT tester myself I’m as fair as I can be, but some things aren’t testers discretion and are a straight fail so you have no choice. The guy who tested mine agrees that the Auxito should pass as the beam is perfect, but rules are that he would have to fail it if they were in ffs
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Yes he tested them and beam was good. It was only how white they were that raised eyebrows. Nearside Headlamp light source and lamp not compatible (4.1.4 (c)) Offside Headlamp light source and lamp not compatible (4.1.4 (c)) The only annoying thing was I had to wait until he had done the next MOT so had to hang about. I took them out for the MOT on the C1 because it's pretty obvious but thought I might be ok on the Mazda 6. Ah well.
never a great idea to spray tail lights ,,,, ask who ever is following for their views on this one. but Im now thinking Uncle Buck , at least you dont wear your PJ's to drive him to school ..............or do ya ?
