You have lucky I bought one and no work for me with stain. I use the Thompson water sealer and the first shot only 20 seconds work after that nothing I don’t know if the stain is too thick but the sprayer don’t work
Sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. The Thompson sealer is really not that thick. Maybe you got a defective sprayer. Take it back to HF. Good luck with your project. 👍
Very nice video Thanks.... Has anyone connected suction and return hoses into it's cover?? Giving you extensions to run the hoses into a larger container of paint and Not have to fill up as often??? Just wondering??
It is actually not that bad. Just ask the neighbor nicely to move away anything close to the fence is all you need. Unless you are focused to spray on the same spot for a long time, anything two feet away does not seems to be affected.
Actually, the Thompsons waterseal Sequoia Red amzn.to/2DbTtje that I used has stain and sealer together so there is really no need for extra sealer. Best luck with your project. 👍
@@1989rrichard I only did one coat. You should note that this is a waterproof stain. Once the first coat is dried, the 2nd coat will not be absorbed into the wood. Good luck with your project.
I used it with Thompson’s stain and it kept freezing the plunger after a few seconds ! I even tried thinning the stain and it still did the same thing. I can run water through it and it works fine ! What gives ?
Sorry to hear that you have a problem with your unit. I have no idea know what is the problem there. I will suggest take it back to HF for a refund. I used mine for two projects seems fine. There is no thinning for the stain I used. Good luck.
Thanks was helpful for a first timer, I think I'll just roll and brush it :) Btw where are you located? Also did I detect you are a fellow canto speaker?
Thanks for watching my video. I will recommend you to spray the fence instead of brush/roll. It will save you a lot of time and with better result. 🙂 I am grew up in Hong Kong and living in SF bay area now. You have good ear. Good luck with your project. 👍
Thank you. I guess if you spray soapy water through it before the stain dried, it will help flush it. But then I think you should still dissemble it to do the final clean and dry. The unit is very simple to dissemble and clean.
Thanks for the good info. I think HF raised the price recently. For that price, I would suggest checking Amazon for other brand offer similar or better features and performance.
